  1. There is a quote (sorry I don’t know who wrote it) that says: “People are like pyramids, those at the top would crumble without the firm support of those beneath.” Unfortunately, we in our humanness, going through the motions of our daily lives, forget to say thank-you. We overlook the people that keep it together and make it work. Sometimes we look around them, sometimes we look straight through them. I wanted to take an opportunity to say thank-you to some of the folks that contribute to my life on a daily basis like so many others do at dropzones around the world for you. Each person that works on a dropzone plays an integral part that is essential to the whole. Often times they contribute in ways that we are unaware of. They find the strength to trudge through in some of the less than ideal conditions, situations and circumstances. They are the backbone, the strength and the spirit that keeps it viable. To those in Planet Eloy I thank-you sincerely, for without you, I could not soar. You are the dropzone’s greatest assets. I salute the divine within you. B~Squared
  2. Yes, I know we have covered this several times...but I thought I would share with you my experience from LAX to PHX this past week-end. Perhaps it will help you when traveling with your rig as a carry on item. First, I carried my rig in the open, not as a display but for lack of better planning I had nothing to put it in. At the check-in counter I asked the attendant to look up the restrictions for Airtec Cypress which he did. I was informed that it was not a restricted item and my rig could indeed be carried on the aircraft. I then asked if they would print me a copy of that directive so that I would not have an issue going through security. The gentlemen was most accommodating and I passed through security without a hitch!
  3. Dusty actually sought me out yesterday and said that after seeing what we had going at the Holiday Boogie, he wanted to be a part of it. I would rather think that he is working with us not for us as part of our community and family. Free flail? Yeah babay!
  4. Well i have the same issue and can dislocate my right shoulder at will. Strengthening around the shoulder is the way to go to prevent serious injury. You go Viking!

  21. Ugh...I have been sitting on my hands on this one...til now. imho...one must learn to crawl before they walk and then learn to run. All flying begins (or should) with rw....it is the basis for everything. Movement, control, stability and so on. (yeah I know I always say I am not a belly flyer...but um guess what happens at pull time?) I don't think that it has so much to do with jump numbers as it has to do with the quality of those jumps and what has been learned. It is essential that folks have good body awareness in order to be a "proficient" flyer period. By learning the different disciplines, it only serves to make one a better overall skydiver
  22. I think that all have something to offer. It depends on your personal preference. Some DZ's you'll see alot of Flitesuit while at another you'll see Firefly and yet another something entirely different. My suggestion is to go to the specific websites and decide for yourself
