435.4: 8:1 435.4 miles driven yesterday to get home from CSS. 8 fun jumps with Guy Wright. Met a few dot commers. Hung out with some foxes and a dragon or two, and generally had a great weekend. 1 owed and paid for my first time at CSS. I have a purple pair that I use while sending my FF suit back and forth to get a good fit. They work really well and I don't even have a problem with the ties at the bottom coming undone because I tuck them under, but I don't find them all that comfy for just casual wearing....they are obviously made to fit a guy. -- Hot Mama At least you know where you stand even if it is in a pile of shit.

Anyone want a good laugh?????? 149 people have viewed this thread and only like 12 people have posted things they are thankful for. Makes you really wonder about our society and that whole barn issue I raised earlier. I can't imagine not finding something to be thankful for every day. I'll add to my list. Relationshipspast, present, and future. I've learned alot from the past few that I hope I remember the lessons for a long time to come. my youngest child who made me realize that life is really fun. And no there is nothing wrong with making "snow angels" in my down comforters. And last for tonight...I learned to be thankful that I'm not the abused/neglected teenager who flew off with me so this afternoon. I learned that she has lived through hell the likes of which I can't even begin to imagine...Thankfully tomorrow will be another day for us both. -- Hot Mama At least you know where you stand even if it is in a pile of shit.

I just spent the past hour fussing at a class of children who behave like they were raised in a barn by farm animals. The teacher who has the class after me called to see WHAT in the world was up with them. After discussion we concluded we had so many things to be thankful for...namely that none of those children have to go home with us every night. That of course got me to thinking about things I am thankful for, so here is just a short list: friends - many of whom are DZ.com friends. I don't know how I'd make it through any day without some of ya'll. Thank you to those who brighten my day with a PM and a smile. family - my family is at least as messed up as the next one and more so than most, but I still love them. health - for an old woman life has treat me quite well. -- Hot Mama At least you know where you stand even if it is in a pile of shit.

Thing is I would never ask for help. My father has already raised me and supported my financially. I am no longer his responsibility. I think if it is import enough to you to have a car then sell your rig if need be. The rig is a luxury item IMO. Reading your post it seems you are upset with them for not helping you fight for your son...again, not their responsibility. You are upset because they haen't come to see your son...have you invited them? Can they financially afford to do so? Did you send tickeets if not? Are they physically able to do so? Have you taken your son to see them? Family is always going to be give and take. No, none of them are perfect and some are much better than others. I know this may sound harsh, but as an adult I would NEVER allow my Dad to help me out. I figured I was working and had moved out and started a family thus it is my responsibility to handle all my financial obligations.
