Good to hear, we just arrived in Orlando this morning and will be heading out first thing in the am -- looking forward to it.

Are you guys in Destin already? What does the weather look like, are we going to get this in???

So is it March 3rd yet, this jump is going to be a blast, next week will crawl by waiting for the weekend! Now the weather just needs to cooporate so we can make this happen!

Anyone doing video of this jump, we were talking about this last night and now wishing we had thought about video for this one...

Can I use an American Express Card when we get there or do I need to arrange that in advance?

I love to skydive with my family, I jump with 4 of my kids and my son-in-law. While I do still jump when they are not around I much prefer to jump with the kids... My wife is planning to do a tandem this summer, I don't expect she will want to do much more than that but she joins us at the dropzone quite often.

Make sure the CD-ROM you bought is compatible with Windows XP and make sure you are using the latest device driver. You can check Hardware Compatibility here: http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/hcl/default.mspx More likely a device driver problem, update your driver using device manager. Also insure you have the latest XP service pack installed, service pack 2 fixed a bunch CD-ROM bugs if I remember correctly.

The hi-res full color looks much better and the slider detail is fixed to reflect reality. But I left the ninja elf hat and 7-cell canopy...

We are also driving up from the Orlando area, shouldn't be too bad and when will you ever get a chance to do a beach jump from a B17 again...

Sounds great, is the Saturday jump still planned for 3 or 4pm? We will be driving up from Orlando... How far from Destin is ECSC???

All this talk about belly's getting stuck has me thinking -- how big is that bomb bay door? Maybe I better hit the gym before March -- I do jump a 230 at about a 1-1 WL... Any more takers so we can get load two in the air???

B17 jump and beach jump in one, how can I resist... If you don't mind some company from the north, count me in. Great excuse for a trip to warmer weather.

I am going to be in SLC this weekend from Boston, do I need to pre-register for the boogie? Also may have some folks interested in tandem, is that available during the boogie?

I will never understand the need for drama and excuses by some. I am putting together an outing for several folks from work to come out and make a Tandem Skydive. Several of them are very excited and have been encouraging others to come along with us. One such person who apparently was on the fence just sent a mass email entitled - why you should never skydive... I opened the email to see a link to watch the infamous Lutz video... Skydiving isn't for everyone, no need for drama, just say no thank you and leave it at that. Why do people feel the need to make excuses rather than just say no thanks???

I traveled yesterday through Salt Lake City and Boston with my rig as carry on without issue. My daughter was also traveling on a different airline and different terminals, rig as carry on without issue.

I will be in Florida with a group of 3 or 4 jumpers all in need of water training. Let me know if you hear of anything scheduled, maybe they will put a class on for us if we have a large enough group. We will be there June 2nd - 6th...

I took several trips to Florida over the winter to finish my A license. When April rolled around in New England and we started to get some good weather I was anxious to get back in the air. I had never jumped at Pepperell, but it is located about 30 minutes from my office. Monday was a beatiful day so I skipped out of the office a bit early and went to Pepperell hoping to jump. Upon my arrival I spoke with a very friendly manifest who got me set up and asked the DZO about possible rental gear so I could jump. While they were working that out, Dave introduced himself and gave me a briefing on the DZ and reviewed the aerial photo with me describing the landing area and possible outs. They had just opened the day before so rental gear was not readily available but the DZO swapped canopies around in a couple of rigs herself to make my jump possible. Everyone I met was helpful, friendly and professional. I went back the next day for the sunset load for a similar experience where manifest knew me by name after just having met the day before. I will be back...

My rig is black and smoke, not too concerned about matching the current rig...
