    Yeah, the problem isn't converting them, I have a program for that, it's just that iTunes encrypts them so that only iTunes can play them, and only ever on 5 computers. You can get around it by burning to a CD and then ripping it, but that seems pretty arduous to me. God made firefighters so paramedics would have heroes...and someone can put out the trailer fires.

    Hey all, I was just thinking about closing loops, and how they tend to stretch and be bothersome over time. Knowing that vectran doesn't shrink or stretch like IIA coreless flatend line, or spectra, I was thinking that it would make great material for closing loops. What does everyone think? I would think that just like my vectran lines on my Safire, you'd want to replace it with the littlest sign of "fuzzing" to prevent spontaneous breakage, but as long as you inspected it every time (not unlike any other pack job) it would be great.     Hey all, I've recently started downloading music through iTunes, and was liking it great until I found out that all files are "protected" and only iTunes can play them, which means I can't convert them and use them in skydiving vids... I found a program with Google called "JHymn (http://hymn-project.org) that will effectively "un-protect" the file and copy it to a different location. So I tried it, and it gave me an error message that said something about how it couldn't totally read the file, and it wanted me to input my iTunes username and password to get the rest of the info it needed from the server. My issue is obviously that I could just be giving me p/w and username to the guy who wrote this thing so that he can download music on my credit card. I'd just like to know if anytone else has used this and uif it's legit. Thanks in advance, EFS!!     Hey everyone, I just wanted to let everyone know that all your help paid off, and I was able to make a decision about what camera to get for my wife, and it just arrived, along with all it's accessories like the docking station, and lens. Everything works perfectly, and it fits in her helmet really well. Thanks to everyone for helping me out with this.     Hey all, I just bought a 109, lens, and docking station off eBay, and I was just wondering what kind of firewire cable I need. My computer has a 4 pin F/W port, and it looks from the pictures that the docking station is a 4 pin as well. Is a 4 pin to 4 pin all I need? Thanks everyone! PS: It has been decided that the docking station doesn't need to be pluged in to power for it to work, right?     Hey all, my wife's Kill line in her bridle needs to be replaced, as it's shrunken beyond it's useful life. What does everyone think of using vectran for a new one? I only ask because I know it resists shrinkage from heat, unlike spectra, which is normally used. Throughts?     Yeah, I've been taking some videos from skydivingmovies.com and cutting clips from them and making them into compilations just for practice. I'm getting kind of good, so it's good to know that I can still make DVDs. How much is Roxio? And what format do you have to have your movies in to bring them into Roxio?     Hey all, I just bought a PC109 for my wife's Christmas present, and I'd like to get a wide angle too now that I know which camera I'm getting. I looked on the Mfg. spec sheet I downloaded from Sony, and it says "Filter Diameter: 25mm." I'm assuming that this is the measurement I need for a wide angle? I mean, either that or converter rings from whatever the lens size is to 25mm, correct? Also, if I get converter rings, do I lose quality? Thanks guys and gals!     I have a J3 with a Safire 169 in it, and I don't know if you could get a 210 in it without some serious cursing. The Tri is a more forgiving type of ZP, and you'd probably be able to get it done if you psycho pack, but it'd be pushing it.     Well, just to give y'all an update, I was in contact with a guy named Ram at 2k, and he told me they couldn't tell me what kind of camera it was made for, but that most helmets would fit either a PC style or an HC style. I looked at the shape of each camera style, and the shape of the helmet box. I measured the helmet, and looked at some dimensions on eBay, and bought a PC109!
