    We were at a boogie and a jumper landed on my husband in the spectater area where we were packing. The guy that hit him, didn't make a peep (no heads up, nothing) when in was coming in and very obviously not going to make the landing area. There was no heads up, nothing. The locals, including the S&TA came over and looked at the guy, turned away, and said oh, that's no surprise. And then the guy gets on another load. Nothing happened to this guy. He was a local and no one even talked to him about any of the many mistakes he made. j Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

    You are the USPA, I am the USPA. I suggest you get of your high horse, maybe attend a meeting if you are so concerned with how things are run? Did you vote? Have you contacted the BOD's with your concerns and/or solutions? Have you EVER attended a BOD meeting? I had a bitch with the USPA some years ago, so I contacted the BOD's, some of which cared enough to reply and then I showed up at a meeting, guess what, I got what I needed done. If you are really passionate about this, you need to show up at a BOD meeting, but I would become familiar with the procedures first.     Sure, but define 'staff members'? People who get paid to be there, fair enough. People who help out but get paid nothing? I reckon they can give their opinion. There is a big difference between someone who is paid and someone who helps out.     thats why I say i have a hard time believing he just stared at the ground. something else had to be wrong. In a different incident years ago a jump was knocked unconscious but know one knew because he appeared to be "tracking" and in a "stable" position.     Skydive Miami

    My friends and I visited Skydive Miami for a few days and were treated like one of their own. The facilities were nice and clean. The staff is very friendly and they appear to run a very professional and safe tandem operation if you are looking to make your first jump and are in the area. The landing area is huge and the ride back is in style. I would definately recommend Skydive Miami for the first time jumper or experienced jumper.
