i consider myself very lucky so far....i had a really deep spot on jump 129 and tried to get back to the DZ....ran out ov altitude and field (barbed wire fence) I was running down wind and tried to make a flat turn!! 90degress to miss the fence...flared to much!!! canopy collapsed an dove in to the ground.. fractured spine...2 weeks trying to eat cornflaks on ur back is no joke...and 6 months rehab!! lesson learnt:.....to deap??!!..pick a good spot and land it!!! -

dont make my mistake!! spend money jumping ur arse off ,,,, i spent loads on fancy gear...then i had nooo money to jump!!! best listing to your instuctor and try not listining to ur pears lol

this is such an amazing sport!!....u can turn up to a dz and jump with world champions,,,movie makers,,,and stuff...i dont think theres any other sport where u can have such easy acccess to the top people like in this sport!!! it might sound sad but i think its great getting there names in my log book lol

i defanitly wouldnt jump it... i had the same problem!!....i had a new canopy in my container over a year!! i almost manifested and went up before looking at it luckily i had a peek and the cells were really stuck together.....i took it outside and flew it like a kite...but it still took about half and hour ov peeling to get it inflated....it def wouldnt have opened... any douts get some air in it and inspect it i say!

id say u made the right call!!......if u have the altitude and ur canopys flying ok...and ur airspace is clear u can prob spend more time on them.... when u havent ....then its gota go!!!....

hi brett i dont think your on your own here.....lots ov us younger jumpers struggle...u gota remember a lot are still paying for education,first steps to owning homes, maybe having kids,,,its true that older skydivers seem to have more expendable cash!....my view is that its a marathon not a sprint !!...if were lucky we will have life time to clock these jumps up!!....i plan my whole life round skydiving,, from my next job (closer to the dz) to my retirement -
hi john!!! its not that we dont trust the shooters!! its the idiots that would fancy stealing these weapons!!!! its not that difficult to train in europe !!! we dont want or need any more guns in this country......god knows we could end up like the states!!!......(a country i love by the way)

hi there!!!......your gona find that the high you get on ur first jumps gets less and less with each jump!! i think thats why people get hurt they start pushing the limits!!!...trying to find that rush u get with ur first 10-20 jumps!!! enjoy while u can!!!.....or like me come back after a year and the adrenaline is at full force lol... take care and blue skys!!!!.....we need more sexy skydiving women!!

hello skymama its nice to meet you!!!.....looks like ur the boss round here!! im a british skydiver!!.....and im hoping to spend a large amount ov the winter in sunny spain!!! but i love my American cousins.....but sadly i dont think ill be able to jump with u guys agin!!.....immagration has gone very strict since 9/11.....and stupidly i fractured the law in my youth...which meens its gona be quite hard for me to jump there again!!

can any one give me some advice???? just bought a new sabre 2 150 and im starting to get the feel ov it! allways done straight in conservative landings..but im looking to start some new exercises...for faster approaches..... (how do u go from landing how u was shown in AFF??? to swooping???).....iv been told long carves!!......but with what?? toggles ,,risers,,,both,,,
