  1. LOL That's the same story the flying club told me...... thus why Nassau county gave them the extended lunch hour But the dizzyness was self induced by other things. He was naked and hooked it low. I was there.
  2. You better be able to pack faster than me. If that is possible.
  3. If I come I am not going to eat a whaffle house at 2 am again. We got robbed last time.
  4. I have a friend with a 182 jump plane in flagler. If you have 4 people he will fly anytime. Drop me an e-mail and I can give you his #. We have permision to jump on flagler beach any time. Just have to file a notum a few hours prior to jumping. scottkrout@fdn.com
  5. The farm is a sweet DZ. I love that pond. Mullins is closer but a road trip to the farm is well worth it.
  6. mullins rocks. You shouild make west tenn skydiving your new home.
  7. My opinion is that you should learn to fly the canopy you have better then downsize. You can swoop larger canopies. You should also look in to goin to a larger drop zone that offers a conopy flying class or swooping class. What ever you deside just respect your canopy and most of all the ground.
  8. Lots of people have done what your asking. You definatly should not downsize before you skill is ready. When flying a smaller canopy currency is everthing. The more you jump the better your skill gets. My opinion is you should not down size until you can get everything your current canopy has to offer.
  9. rules can be broken safley if you dont like my attitude WHO CARES I DONT. BLUE SKYS
  10. Rules are there not to restrict you but to protect you and others in the sky with you. Your thinking might be fine if you're a one-person dropzone and there are no people on the ground that you'll land on. But since you're not a one-man dropzone, your willingness NOT to follow the rules puts other people, both jumpers and non-jumpers, at risk. Next time you're psyched up to break a rule, think about whether you can live with having taken out another jumper or the bad publicity your dropzone is going to get as a result of your decision. You might realize that your thinking is a bit selfish.[/reply I have been in this sport over 10 years. If you chose to pull low and have the gear to do it it does not endanger anyone but you. You explain to me how it affects anyone but me if I pull low in my own airspace. I have never even come close to hurting anyone or myself. But you are right if you pull at 600 ft you could hurt someone but its not likely. I personally open above 2500 feet but only because my canopy takes 800 feet to open. I still dont like rulz. pay your money take your chances.
  11. SOUNDS GOOD TO ME Rules were made to be broken. So I gues you are so perfect you have never done anything agaist the rules. I really dont think thier are many skydivers that haven't gone low at some point in thier skydiving life. I have and learned alot from it. I personally dont like rules and regulations. You pay your money and sign your waver. If you die its on you and the choice you made. Life is about choices right or wrong who am i to judge, or you for that matter.
  12. I totally agree with you. All of you guys bitching about this is going to do what? People make choices all the time so good some not so good. I know both of these guys and I will bet u they wont be doing that again.(well not as low any way) I think the fact that they posted this is a great learning video and fun to watch. I SAY FUCK THE RULES.
