  1. Hi birds, The Ski M 12 fucking rocks and is really fun to fly. I load it at 1.9 and a 90° hook turn => + 150 ft . I use it too for acro and mountaining because it is launchable by foot ( without wind too ), light , fast (so summit wind proof ) and fly very stable in turbulence . I plan a freestyle and freeriding movie as soon as the swoop pond will open .Feel free to PM me if you need more infos about the canopy or coaching. blue skies Chris PS : Speed-flying , Groundlaunching and swooping are dangerous and need good skills even with the Ski M 12 .
  2. Hi Birds, No , No . I currently use my new baby for speedflying , groundlaunching and Swwwwooooping !!!! Blue skies Chris PS But you have to be cool-headed !!!
  3. Just an add, I second Chuck and The 111 when they say the Prod is not the easiest student WS to fly. Blue skies Chris PS I believe in Chucks integrity and for sure LukeH , you are Irish because you have fire in one's veins
  4. As an ex-prodigy owner ( 70 flights inboard before V1) , I only had some light instabilitys trouble at the beginning , but fronflip at pull time is a little bit excessive and no wings undone for me and for the newbees who flew later my baby. Prod rock and is safe . Blue skies Chris
  5. Yes Safe for eveybody if you NEVER use a ski resorts slope . Best is to find a freeriding site . EX: http://www.ecole-speedriding.com/ blue skies Chris
  6. Hi Birds, For sure, we are not far from a small revolution . I actually take off by foot , fly and swoop a new canopy with a special design. Because of the jump-ticket increase , Ground launching will grow-up more and more : here we have big mountains, big big swoop pond ( lake ) , great idea but no money ! Some infos about my new wing : 12 m2 (projected 110 ft 2) 28 cells GR 5/1 and I fly it at 200 lbs . Actually, I can only swoop above the ground and it's not the best for taking the advantages of this new design ( our swoop pond is frozen now ) but after a basic straight in approach I usualy swoop 100 to 150 ft with a big flare power at the bottom end . I plan a trailer and feel free to PM me if you need more infos. Blue skies and happy new year. Chris PS Suitable for acro paraliding too
  7. Hi, I currently fly a V1 too . I always pull full speed ( sometime below 2000 ft ) with my tri 190 ( i am a big boy and bought it for 850 $ new ) and ..... Never had a problem : really WS friendly and the best for the buck. Blue skies Chris
  8. They are second to none even with the french ! Blue skies Chris
  9. Hi Birds, Same problem as before, the plastic insert of the cutter can damage the reserve loop by friction.FFP imposes a visual check by a rigger and a replacement of the defective cutter if necessary. Blue skies Chris

  15. Hi birds, Density for sure but during a WS base jump you are mentally and technically on the top so it is why you ( and you have to ! ) do some fucking good flights. It is just my 2 cents. Blue skies Chris PS Kris your ex-V1 fucking rock and I can hear its legwing flapping of happiness because it's time to go !
