I beg to differ. If you lie to the Dr., he will eventually bill your ins. who will likely not further invesstigate it and simply pay the bill for a covered fall. You don't have to talk to the FBI, but if you do and lie, it's a crime. -

I have a Dodge diesel and it's up for 30k service which consists of changing trans. fluid, rear end, front end fluid for 4 WD, fluid for transfer case. Ist Dodge dealer - $600. They also said that I must change coolent although the owners manuel says not til 100K 2nd Dodge dlr - $450 they said I don't need coolent flushed. Jiffy Lube - $240 w/o coolent flush. Guess which one I will go to. Many places go by a "book rate" which is always inflated. I caught one charging me $125 labor to change a thermostat, which I could have done myself in 15 mins. I pointed this out to the manager with my hood up and a lot of people around and a loud voice. He readily made a big adjustment to the bill. I avoid Dealers unless it's a complicated issue & I also avoid those that charge the "book rate". Everyone is entitled to a profit but you have to really watch some guys.

Try Skydive New England in Lebanon Maine. It's about 75 miles from Boston & it's great. They have a Super Otter & on weekends will turn 25 loads a day. They are also open all week. As to 12 loads a day, it would depend on how many students are there. They have a bunkhouse & lots of good vibes. Try contacting Mike (one of the owners) at 207-289-0378. He's a good guy & will work with you if he can.

I have had Chev Ford and now a Dodge, all deisel. Everything being equal I would choose Chev hands down. Can't recall what I got towing with my 02 Chev, but empty was 20. My Dodge gives me 17. All have adequate power and good engines but the Chev has a 6 speed Allyson trans. Nobody beats that and nobody badmouths them

I did all my PLF's on a 28' 7T/U in the early 60's. I could do them well as it was necessary to avoid broken stuff. I get a kick today when I see someone do a high speed downind, crash, roll thru the lines in a quadriple somersalt while an observer hollers "good plf" They don't really have a clue. It's not their fault tho as we usually came in backwards, and thats a lot easier. However, I certainly will take todays landings over those "good" plf's of the past.

I suppose it could be back calcuated if you admitted to having a couple of beers after the accident, however that wouldn't raise you much more and could probably be calcuated. However, if you had a 5th under the seat, took a mouthful to swish around in your mouth, spit out the rest and dumped a large portion of the jug beside the raod, and were very vague about what you drank, you might get by, but it would possibly require you to lie under oath and that is another can of worms. In the case I read from Scotland the toxocologist would have to have accurate info re: your after accident drinking to be back calcuated.

Yup, sounds like you got a Pilonidal Cyst. I had one, it itches and stuff comes out when u scratch. It is often associated with people who spend a lot of time on their ass, like truck drivers. It will probably have to be surgecially removed and the longer you wait the bigger it grows. It grows in an inverted cone shape so what is on the surface is only the tip of the iceburg, and after they remove it they will tie your butt cheeks together with bailing twine. Thats after they stitch up your incision. They won't let u shit for about a week then when u do you have to bomb sight the turd as u can't sit down due to the bailing twine. I don't want to discourage u from your pleasure of scratching it, but this was no walk in the park when I had it done years ago. Right up there with having your prostate removed. I had to sit on an inner tube for weeks. My advice is see your Dr. & get it taken care of.

I have always had two cats and ond day I found a cat turd right in the middle of the bed. I didn't know which cat did it but I took both and stuck it's nose in it and slapped them a bit. Well the one that did it got the message, and it never happened again. The poor cat that was not guilty is probaably still wondering what that was all about.

This exact thing came up at a DZ I was working at except it wasn't in a contract. I went to a lawyer friend who explained that the DZ owner would be guilty of spoilage of evidence and could be charged criminally. Furthermore you have the situation that almost all videos come out but unfortuinately the one the cops are interested in didn't. Additionally, to support the DZ owners claim I would have to lie to the cops and say the video didn't come out, something I wouldn't do. I gave him the above in writing, end of issue. If I were in your situation, I would simply do my work and if the issue came up, tell whoever asks what happened and that the boss has the evidence. He can then choose if he wants his nuts in a vise or not and you have simply told the truth. If you are really friends with the S&TA who enforces the rules, show him this. Of course you will be looking for a new job, but it's better than being tied up in a legal mess.

The V rings were to hold the reserve belly band down. The ring (to the right of the v ring in your photo) appear to be woven into the harness and are where the reserve was attached.
