Do riggers and other support positions go through RIP ? What would be the point ? It has always been my understanding that just like airborne school if you flunk RIP, you become needs of the army. I some how doubt if a Ranger battalion needs a rigger, they would send him packing if he failed RIP. What is the AIT/RIP at Fort Jackson for ? Is there a Ranger battalion there now ?
