I made a new aluminum 2mm metal plate for my CX-100 to solve the mounting hole/bracket problem . I reused the original 90 degree bracket. You will need to remove the strap for the camcorder to fit. It is a very solid mount with support on two sides of the camcorder which helps a lot to keep a consistent aiming point. I did not need to cut around the lens opening or the back side of the door with a stock battery. Try and get the camcorder mounted as close forward as possible. I use a Century .55 and a Opteka .3 lens. You can also cut out a small oval on the 90 bracket directly under where the battery release is so you can change batteries without removing the camcorder. L&B just fixed my Protrack. These are the instructions for repair. Here is how we do it: You send in the unit to me: U. Berger/L.&B. USA, 1445 Pine Pl., Deland, FL. 32720, along with a check for $35.00. This is to cover the charge for check/clean/repair/replacement and shipping. The way it works is this: there is a $10.00 fee for us to take inn and check, test and clean the unit, we have a $20.00 charge for repair/replacement, and $5.00 for shipping (USPS) and handling. If the unit is repairable we will do so, if not we will simply send you a new unit (unless the unit is badly damaged from neglect), no extra charge other than what you have already paid. If your unit and the problem with your unit, is covered by the limited warranty, we will return your check with the unit, so if you think that is the case, we need the original receipt (or a copy of it) as well, of course we will make sure you get your receipt back with the unit! The "assault weapon" ban accomplished NOTHING! It only banned the MANUFACTURE and IMPORT of semiautomatic rifles with certain cosmetic features and hicap magazines after Oct 1993. All "assault weapons" and high capacity magazines MADE BEFORE the ban were STILL LEGAL to POSSESS or legally BUY. The "assault weapon" ban did not ban the POSSESSION of ANYTHING as the "banned" items could not be legally manufactured or imported. The law applied to gun manufactures and importers! NO ONE who legally wanted an "assault weapon" or high capacity magazine was denied the opportunity to buy one BEFORE or AFTER the ban. You would have had to buy an assault weapon or magazine MANUFACTURED before the 94 ban. Any gun store had them and would have let you legally buy one! This of course is only for the federal ban, as some states/cities have banned the sale of assault weapons. Anyway, most gun crimes involve handguns as they are easily concealed. Assault weapons are used less than 5% of the time. Mostly by felons, drug dealers and gangs, and not by law abiding gun owners. If you think the ban accomplished something then you have not READ or UNDERSTOOD the 94 ban! (Guade) Americans own more "assault weapons" (and other guns) than at any time before. Just because the media covers a story in Miami on the rise of assault weapon use by CRIMINALS does not necessarily mean the trend is nationwide or even related to the expiration of the 94 ban. The drive by "media" hates guns and will always portray guns in a bad light. They RARELY cover the lawful use of guns in self defense or in any other positive light. There are cities where assault weapon use in crimes has DECLINED but the media will NEVER cover that! Its been 13 weeks and still waiting!!

I am here in San Diego and have the "call in jury duty". I have to call everyday after 5pm to see if I am scheduled to serve. i have a question that I can't seem to find a answer to. How friggin long am I on this "oncall" bullshit. This is stupid. I have a job and calling every night not knowing when or if I have to serve blows! They have got to have a time limit for this shit, either I serve or after one week i'm out. I am not about to call in forever every friggin night! Someone give me a idea how long this goes on! ____________________________________________________ Last year I called Santa Ana courthouse and told them I couldn't do "call in duty" late on a Friday and they said come in on Monday morning. They must have put me at the bottom of the juror list cause I sat around until 230pm and then they told me goodbye. There were about 40 of us left that they never picked.
