Yeah....when I got home after class I had an email offering me the option to "Buy it Now" since the winning bidder had declined. It took only that to figure out that something was fishy, and I don't think it would have taken me too long to realize that it was expired once I looked at it again. Of course that was unnecessary since I had 7 or 8 emails saying just that.

Hey everyone.....I've read through this thread and though I'd (as one of the accidental bidders) put my 2 cents in. I ran home between classes this afternoon and found an email waiting for me from someone who said that they were looking to sell a rig. It sounded like a good deal, and I've really been looking for my first rig, so I wrote them back asking for more details about it and about shipping to my rigger for inspection. It was the first one I've inquired about that didn't come with a cypres, so I thought I'd check out Ebay to see if there was anything available. You can probably guess what I found. Since it only had 2hrs left and I had to run to class I threw my bid in without expecting it to be highest and certainly without thinking about the expiration of the Cypress. It was a nasty combination of me being in a hurry and not taking the time to think about the obvious (lesson learned). I agree that he is legally free and clear and I easily could have been suckered into buying it, but morally I agree that this guy was an asshat and I'm really greatful to Kelly and Robert and half a dozen other people who quickly pointed out the mistake. Here's a big THANK YOU to all of you who felt like "meddling" in the situation.....you all are my new best friends.
