  1. Still happening. The offending ads seem to be 1. ING Direct 2. KOMLI 3. Travelex Can you tell them Basejumper.com has the same issue with the same ads, please! :)
  2. Yep, the ad department failed to rectify the problem. On the upside the site took a few extra advertising cents from me trying to avoid the vertical Travelex advert and failing repeatedly :)
  3. Good, it's not just me then! Was wondering whether it was my own personal technology fail
  4. Hi There, I've been getting problems all day (I'm in Oz) with pop us ads on the site. They are overlaying the page and making all links on the page inoperable. I'm getting the same issue on Basejumper.com as well. I've attached a screen shot. I've rebooted my laptop, restarted the browser and still not managed to fix it. I can refresh some of the pages a few times and end up with an ad that stays at the top, but a couple of pages are unreadable and won't refresh out of the problem. Cheers
  5. You cannot jump an Argus in Australia.
  6. Do you mean these names? http://www.pia.com/contact/contact.htm
  7. Hey there international skydivers, this is a long shot, but I'm desperate. I'm on the lookout for 30 LAMEs (Licensed Aircraft Mechanical Engineers) for positions across SE Asia (Australia, PNG, Indonesia, Thailand) to work on Bell series helicopters. The main requirements are a minimum of five years on Bell machines, and experience on the PT6T series engines and/or Allison 250c. These roles are fly in / fly out on a 28/28 schedule with good terms and conditions. If anyone out there knows anyone that might know someone, that might have these skills. Please do pass details along as I'd love to get some of these roles filled. Thanks to anyone that can help. Feel free to PM me for more details.
  8. Anyone who's interested in following the JFTC 2009 record attempt, the Aussie contingent's packer, Luke Oliver has been video logging here: http://www.youtube.com/user/JFTC2009 It's mainly ground footage for our Australian supporters back home, but I thought i should tell the world as there maybe others out there who would like to hear the updates. Enjoy.....
  9. From all accounts Genting is a low power tunnel and as such I have been recommended to use a baggy suit. My question to those of you that have been is, do they have a range of suits to borrow, or should I take one? I don't have one, but I can probably borrow one. Cheers Joel
