Well, if you want a serious answer from a girls perspective... She should tell him the truth. You really don't need to get involved at all, because it sounds like you're not really friends with him in the 1st place. Are you absolutely positive she's not telling him the exact same things she's telling you? Honesty is always the best policy in these situations, and the sooner the better, especially if she's going away with you for a month. Good luck and enjoy your relationship.

Okay, this is my $.02... 1. You can jump either the beach or the DZ. Depending on interest they usually either rotate loads between the 2 or they can do multiple drops on the same load. Whoever they drop 1st gets slightly less altitude. Lots of people jump all day to the DZ and do a sunset/last jump of the day to the beach. But the shuttle should be running all day to the beach, so you could just jump the beach all day and not get as many loads in if you wanted to. Or you could not jump the beach at all. 2. Usually there are no tents on the beach, that is a landing hazard. There are some lounge chairs along the beach, and half of the Florabama is outside. They have a covered deck and a boardwalk down to the beach. Usually when we do hang out at the 'Bama it is outside. 3. The shuttle ride usually takes about 45 minutes - 1 hour, as I recall (but I have usually had a few bushwackers so my memory might be a little fuzzy). 4. Usually start at the beach with the sunset jumps and move to the DZ later. Around 8 the party will be at the Bama. Unless you have time to make it to the DZ for a sunset jump (you should probably call Becky and see if there are slots available) then you should head on down to the Bama. Of course I have a job, a very good job that lets me work (or postwhore) 10 hour days and have Fridays off. And I just happened to be lucky enough to have a meeting scheduled on the way to the 'Bama on Wednesday morning. And I have enough vacation days to take Thursday off. Doesn't sound like there will be a lot of extras floating around, so if you want to do beach jumps I recommend getting your water gear before you get there. It's a family thing. I made a commitment, and it's really important to me. I can't get sick. My mom's brother died of leukemia 26 or so years ago. When he was sick they started a softball tournament to raise money for his treatment. So now it's a Memorial softball tournament and we donate the money to someone in the community who is in need of it. My cousin took over the running of it 3 years ago, when my aunt decided to stop doing it after the 25th year. I'm the treasurer now and that weekend involves a lot of work. Sooooo, if it was ANYTHING else I would plan on getting sick. But I can't miss it. Just bummed the 2 events have to be on the same weekend.
