    I have been there just 1 month ago. Very nice bunkhouse: it is actually a house with 4 rooms kitchen and bath, you can find everything in there.Very fast King Air 10 minutes to 15.000 ft. Friendly stuff.Excellent freefly coach : Joao Tambor. If there is not a large group usually not busy during the days but weekends lots of Tandems and busy and possibility to jump from 18.000 ft. Think about Z-Hills as well because it is busy during the weeks as well.It is very nice and popular.Trailers can be rent in DZ for 15-20 USD per night for long term like 10 days.They have 2 Twin Otters

    I tried HP 6340 PDA phone as an MP3 player in a Turbo Caravan. I jumped solo with it from 13500.I had the earphones which has support (clips) behind the ear. I didn't hear anything other than my protack till the main opened. Frankly speaking our DZ is not a crowded one so there is no heavy traffic and not many students. If one loves skydiving and also loves music, why shouldn't they be together.I believe most of us ( maybe all of us) are clever enough to figure out potential negatives and take the necessary precautions. Personally I loved listening my favorite songs while doing my favorite hobby. BTW I also listen music when I snowboard

    Is there a bunk house in Lake Wales? What can you advice for economic accomadation in Lake Wales?

    That will be perfect.Till now I have jumped with Drakkar 300 , BOC. I don't think it will be a problem Javelin with PD or Falcon as the WL will be less than .0.75. I will give you a call or PM you before I arrive there. In reply to ''popsjumper'': The cheapest I found in Orlando is 44 Usd daily unfortunately.In my home DZ ( Ephesus-Izmir-Turkey ) it is 3 USD per jump.

    If I feel strongly that it will make me loose the deal, I will not tell. There is no need to loose something very importand for me. But I wouldn't lie something like '' I quit '' if they already know it

    I will be jumping on; 12-13-14 sSace center. 15-16-17 Z-hills. 18-19-20 Lake wales. ACcording to their website Boogie starta on wed 18th and finishes on sun 22nd.

    I will be in Orlando in January 12-20 / 06. I want to rent gear from local skydivers in order to avoid expensive gear rental from the DZ's. I am 5.9 and 190lb, have 114 jumps and looking for a 250-230 size complete system for 7 days.Ready to pay 200USD.

    The dz in Ankara is actually 'The Headquarter of Turkish Auronautical Association'.Only the staff makes training jumps and it is not possibble to make commercial jumps unless you know somebody from the senior staff. But the same Association started to run its dz in Izmir (Selcuk-Ephesus Dz) for commercial jups. You can find the details in Dropzones section.Shortly ; Jump over the antique city of Ephesus from 10.000-11.000 ft reached in 10 min with a turbo caravan. Costs app 23$.

    It is avery late answer but a good one. Starting from last year (2004 May) Turkish Aeronautical Association(THK) opened the doors of its Ephesus Education Center to Skydivers. It is 1 km away from antique city of Ephesus where you can watch while landing and just 5 km away from the sea. Price of a jump at 11.000 ft from a Turbo Caravan is 22$. Excelent place where I got my A license after a SL course costing app 700$ (32 jumps).
