    I remember when I arrived in the UK from the US. In the US, a rigger puts his seal on the reserve using a thin piece of thread. The UK requires you to cut this off because it "increases" the required pull. I was simply shocked. Doing that meant I had to get a repack when I went back to the states. They were adamant, and made me take it off. And that wasn't the only bullshit rule they had. It seemed to be very much up to the DZO or person(s) he relied on. We are all engines of karma

    100 jumps/year * $20/jump = $2000 $2000/12 months = $167/month = $40/week. We are all engines of karma

    All insurance companies that I know of have a general "hazardous sports" question, which includes scuba and skydiving, etc. If you deny, they have 2 to 3 years depending upon the state to investigate. Now, it's ok to change your mind after you got the policy and not tell them. But, if they can prove "willful misrepresentation" (i.e., you were active at time of policy issue) they may not have to pay even after 2-3 years (depends upon the state I'm told).
