    This isn't a scary story. It's one of my more memorable jumps... Night jump. Lodi, around 1986. Bill's Beech had floater rails. Me and a friend went out first on a night 10 way, hanging under the Beech on the foot rail's cross bars. Waiting there for the rest of the floaters to get out. Huge moon over Lodi, thin cloud layer at 6K, big blue flames coming out of the engines. A good 10 seconds, looking my buddy in the eye, and living life. Don't know why I'm thinking about this tonight, but it just won't go away... We are all engines of karma
