Dont jump off the deep end and say it ISNT happening. It could be happening on a small scale but that doesnt mean it isnt happening at all. If they allow people to have these cards and pulse money out anything is possible as to what they can buy with it. Which is why I think its assinine that any cash would be able to be dispensed from these cards.

I assume an EBT card is just like a Lone Star card...so why on earth would they be allowed to pulse actual money? That's absolutely stupid. Why can't they just use it at grocery stores for you know....food.

Well a winner has been chosen. I just picked it up yesterday. I did some research and the main factor which made me change my mind about going from .40 to 9mm was the availability/price of ammo. I just got back from academy where I bought 50 rounds of 9mm for 13 bucks. That's pretty affordable...oh and the magazine holds 19 rounds +1 up the pipe. So its a Springfield XDm 9mm. I plan on training with this sidearm and becoming very proficient with it. I held at least 10 different pistols in my hand at bass pro shops yesterday and the sub-compact versions, my hand was bigger than the pistol. I have large hands and long fingers and the springfield felt like it was supposed to be there. The glock was nice, but with all the features of the xdm combined with the way it melted in my hand is what sold me. I'll let you know later how it shoots.

I have a remington model 700 chambered in .308 but like the other suggestion of spending as much on the glass as you do on the rifle...well I've got a nice model 700 with no scope on it yet. It's definately on the to do list. I was pondering shooting around 300 yards at the most, but if I can get tight groupings I might see about further distances...but for now...get a scope first!

OK I recently completed all the criteria for me to get my Texas CHL. It should be coming in soon and while I'm getting a free pistol from my father for getting it. The first link is what I will be getting from my dad for completing the class. But I wanted to buy my own pistol for carrying. We'll just have to agree to disagree. I believe that with certain professions there is a higher duty of care. Cops is one of them. I've seen my father act professional in some extremely chaotic situations with people yelling, cursing in his face and he just smiled and kept doing his job. Some others look for conflict. This has nothing to do with the fact he was a peace officer and more to do with the fact that he obviously had issues controlling his anger.

Simply put, the entire shared services division was getting outsourced to accenture. The company couldn't do local support so they teamed up with the company I work for now. So before this there was a guy named Lloyd Pitchford. (british douchebag) This guy was working for British Gas and he outsourced his whole IT department for the contract with Accenture. Approximately 3 years went by and after 3 horrible reviews in a row they learned that a vast majority of the time tickets would be created but rarely got any call backs and accenture was getting paid for the tickets they created...not closed and british gas broke their contract and sued Accenture to which they won around 240 million pounds. So this same guy leaves british gas and gets a job where I was working at. Next thing you know we were getting outsourced to accenture as well. Of course his wife is a VP at accenture...so I'm sure he's getting paid hand over fist for the deal and intertek was supposed to save 240 million dollars a year for switching to accenture...but after getting thrown under the bus for more horrible reviews at intertek the company I work for now only does per event work for them. And now Accenture is going to be working the healthcare.gov website? This has to be intentional to make sure obamacare fails to default to a single payer system. Which single payer or socialized medicine could be around the corner.
