Nikon N80 - Cable Shutter Release Help?
FreeflyKiwi replied to velvetjo's topic in Photography and Video
I have not used a manual cable shutter release, but if I can remember it is a spring loaded cable that fires the camera. It would be doable, but when you start bending that cable around corners and into your helmet it will increase the presure needed to fire the shutter and will be a bitch if using with your mouth. Canon Rebels are fantastic film cameras and I would recommend the rebel 2000. Good luck, its alot of fun taking photos but I ask myself all the time why the hell I want to strap all of that shit to my head. Dale two time New Zealand gumboot throwing champ. -
How does a X-fire 2 perform if slightly underloaded?
FreeflyKiwi replied to BlindBrick's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
Although on the lower side I dont think you will have any problems. I have over 400 jumps on my Xfire 2 and love it. I have nothing bad to say about them and the openings are superb. Dale two time New Zealand gumboot throwing champ. -
Well done mate you have done a great job of the site. But I'm with Lew not posting any photos on your site. I have spend to much money to let people steal my work. With that said, I'm looking forward to checking back and seeing everyones cool pics. Dale two time New Zealand gumboot throwing champ.

I use to work in a factory with 200 workers. the night before April fools day I strung up police tape around the office staff carparks at the front of the building and chalked a dead body outline. It was funny as hell, one of the office workers called the police to find out what happened and some didnt see the funny side. And of course for the important office staff had to find alturnative parking for a few hours. They never did find out I did it. Dale two time New Zealand gumboot throwing champ.

I had a voodoo as my first container and loved it. No doubt one of the best containers on the market. I know own a talon FS but am looking at purchasing another voodoo. (Dont take any notice of SID, he jumps a racer) Dale two time New Zealand gumboot throwing champ.

Dead right, figure out a good combo. I use a Kenko .42 and a Canon Fisheye 15mm combo Be aware that not only do some of the wider lenses distort, but some tanem instructers may not like you flying closer to compensate for the lense. I love my combo, my .42 is a fisheye and does distort but I like the effect and my 15mm takes amazing pictures and adds an artistic toach. Exit can look terrible if not flown tight. I have used a .5 in the past and thought is was a great size for tandem, in my opinion and from the other posters looks like the way you should go. Pictures are from my canon 15mm, shots are similar on my video cam. Dale two time New Zealand gumboot throwing champ.

- By "top flap", are you talking about a reserve parachute? Or the final closing flap on a main parachute? - Had the pull-up cord not been removed from the closing loop after packing? - What was "closed in air": the pin cover flap? I take it as the top flap on main closing. He closed it in the plane! Dale two time New Zealand gumboot throwing champ.

Fear Factor is GREAT. Most of the ladys spent shitloads of money on their breast implants and then are seen on FF eating some of the sickest shit known to man. Just doesn't get better than that. As for going on the show myself hell yes! Daddy wants a new rig. Dale two time New Zealand gumboot throwing champ.

For me, flying camera has changed the way I look at the world. In the air and on the ground. Everything seems to look all so beautiful. Take it easy Dale two time New Zealand gumboot throwing champ.

Padding it for the mean while if its snug should not be a problem, however if you have decided that this is the angle you want adjusting the Box permanently might be the best option. You camera is made to sit flat in the Dbox. Best of Luck Dale two time New Zealand gumboot throwing champ.

Hi Matt, Try pulling alittle more film out so it wraps futher around winder and I'm sure you know but the camera needs to be on a setting to start winding. Hope this helps Dale Dale two time New Zealand gumboot throwing champ.

I thought I got away with it last week because I did my 500th during the week, but sure enough the badfish at my DZ found out and pied my ass so I was smelling pretty bad for a couple of days. Dale two time New Zealand gumboot throwing champ.

Here is a pic I took of the badfish at FLS taken last weekend. from the left Chris D, Bill S and Chris Badfish Cowden. Bill S is one of the worlds smallest skydivers at a total height of one foot doing a difficult stand on Chris D's knee. Dale Dale two time New Zealand gumboot throwing champ.
