IMO for programming linux works well. Graphics wise, Gimp doesn't come close to Photoshop but Gimp is also a lot less $$$. I've never had a problem with apps being under developed in linux either. I like macs and can deal with windows but linux is where it's at. Hell of a lot cheaper than buying a copy of OSX or Windows too...

Linux is the way to go...way better than windows or mac unless you like playing games...

Third design is nice but the smiley looks good too
