That was fun!!! Thank you so much for putting it together!! Nothing but smiles in freefall..too cool. is

My whuffo friends are waaaaaay more dramatic than the girls at the DZ. Honestly, it's alot more peaceful of an environment for me. Now acceptance by being accident prone?!!/??#@!# Watch it woman!! Don't make me hit you with my cane! Seriously though, I tend to trip around and bang myself up off the DZ. It's not for attention. Bruises are embarrasing. I hate pain. But I'm a blonde in every essence and things run into me all the time. is

Not sappy at all!!! Great story!! is

After struggling with fall rate and backsliding across the stratosphere, 3 great girls (Kim, Kirsten, Larissa) took me up for a 4 way. Really simple skydive, but I stayed in - for the most part. I couldn't stop smiling. That skydive meant the world to me.

Whatever. The game itself may have changed but the physical dangers are the same. Can we not still die if we fail to release anything after the foul line? Things happen very fast after that point. As you, of all people, are aware there is little to no time to initiate EPs before pin impact. What lessons do you have to offer versus a No Sh*t There I was Story. You should be dead and are quickly becoming a bad example with your arrogance. You are one lucky guy. Hope you invest in a Bypress and a BSL (ball static line). Is the ball still round? Are people still bouncing because of fingerloading, just because they want to bowl like Bubba the Alley Gawd? Is bowling without shoes still considered high risk? Hmmmm the sport of bowling hasn’t changed that much, has it? Okay….I think I’ve made my point. The safety issues are always going to be the same. I suggest you study your little beer rules and go play Nerf golf or something. Hope you don’t “bag out” on another coaching course, you need it. People like you are a hazard in the alleys. Good luck. is

Watch out Thanatos!! I feel as if your warning was a direct attack at me. Yes, I have retired from bowling, but tell me, where in the hell does that give you the right to tell someone my bowling advice doesn't hold water? I'm PM'ing a moderator. Your beauty and my beauty have put us in questionable bowling situations - and yes we should take up something less risky. What we learned from our mistakes can be shared truth, thus knowledge passed. How many people do you know of that have survived pin impact? Unbelievable survival story that could potentially save a newbie bowlers life. Someone out there may not let go of the ball - or your wisdom could count as a save. So before you start bashing me for giving sound advice - try thinking about our community first. Last thing we want is a bunch of dead ignorant bowlers. Thank you. is

Generally relative bowlers don't share the lane with free bowlers, unless it's of course a hybrid bowl. Free bowlers usually require bumpers and are at the far end of the alley because the relative bowlers are scared to death of them, and also because they dress funny. I hope this answers your question. is

Tell me Jaye, when was the last time you really dirt bowled??? Do you just get up there and chunk the sh*t out of it and hope for the best?? You are getting so caught up on YOU, that one day you are gonna lose aisle awareness and hurt yourself or DIE. I was a newbie - but, again, my beauty compromised my safety training so, I can at least hope to give a little something back - though I've moved on. If you continue bowling - bowl with experienced friends and they will point you in the right direction. I'm getting all emotional now...... ......I'm gonna cry. Please hug me. is

Yup!! He literally "went in" to the racker thingy and hit the pins. I could have lost my job after reading that story..it is hilarious. Now...back to you - young lady - think about downsizing that ball would ya?? Your fingerloading is definately a hazard to all of us. I can't imagine your ball hitting me as I'm in my final on my bowling pattern. Even a Bypress fire couldn't save me. And please, for the love of God, don't bowl bare-footed. is

I must agree with you WildBill. This really concerns me that he felt it was okay to bowl on dope. He thought it was cool/okay because his friends didn't notice??? This just outrages me even more and makes me all the more thankful that I have given up this beautiful sport. From the way I see it, he is going to be the first link in a serious chain of events. Please Jaye, stay away from him...stick with the basics....even try bumpers. It's really not that bad, the alley gawds won't notice since you are new. Please go to LawnDart's thread and read about Thantos' incident......he went in because of a chain of events and somehow -incredibly - he survived. is

How wonderful!!!! is

Bolas, just screw these hypocrites!! They are all Alley Gawds and forgot that they’ve all been in the gutter at one point or another. There are other extreme sports where I’m sure we wouldn’t be faced with as much arrogance as we are here. I’m looking at extreme pool. And I’m getting my own chalk and stick!! So that I look really cool, I’m gonna buy some finger-less gloves. I’ll be an icon in the sport. Come join me! is

I understand and am right there with you. My injury was not my fault. I was not told that my ball was too big and that it could hurt me. My captivating beauty overwhelmed my BI/SO and he didn’t tell me. I’ve given up the sport because of the horrific consequences from my accident. I still have nightmares about it. I remember when I used to drive to the bowling alley with so much passion, thinking I could love nothing more – now, it’s nothing but a bad memory. I’ll never return – no regrets here. I don’t even miss the people or the beer rules. Maybe you can find your way back – but please be wary of bad advice or the lack thereof. Good luck. is

Nothing to contribute here, but: {{as homer simpson}} mmmm pistachios.... my favorite nut. is

Unfortunately no one talked with me about fingerloading. I just figured I could since the guys were doing it. Sadly, the guy I was dating thought I was so beautiful that he didn’t teach me about slowly loading my fingers. It’s all his fault – I blame him for the injury because he was so focused on my beauty that he failed to teach me about bowling safely. So I gave up the sport. is

I just don’t understand people like you who insist on making a risky sport even more dangerous. I have broken myself using a highly loaded ball WITH shoes on. I think you need to take a breath, step back, consider playing with Nerf balls or at least move down to the bumper lanes. You are a bowling incident waiting to happen. is

Nevermind.... You always have a "sea-shell" type sound coming from your head anyway. You probably won't notice. If you put little grippers in them, you can use them as bottle openers later. is

So, if you leave your helmet off, will your ears whistle in freefall? is

DUH, obviously you weren't looking your very best on the canopy control lessons during student training, and how not to hose thyself.... Just kidding.... Good story...I betcha I know who chimed in - was it Jeffro?? is
