i told my team lead and mu bunisness unit manager that i was jumping. My team lead always asks me if i jumped lately and wants to know how it went. So i think its a plus in my situation. in an interview situation, i wouldnt mention it unless i was asked about my hobbies. then id be like a little school kid talking the interviewer's ear off about the sport. i might loose the chance at the job. well i got my Leedom helmet today and looked it over. the cooling apparatus was a catch point and as i thought the goggles strap holder was also a catch point. so I ate some spagetti and pondered how to tackle the situation.... well the results were to pull the thing apart and remove the cooling system (piece of sliding plastic). also went with cutting off the goggle strap holder. here is teh results. i couldnt stand the stryofoam(sp?) showing in the rear so i painted it black with a permenant marker, i know it looks like crap. already thinking of ways to hide it. possiblly some fake hair off a haloween mask. im thinking of a blue mullet hanging out the back maybe not... here are the pics. Helmet rear 1 Top with removed cooling slider excuse the finger prints, i was working between bites of spagetti and garlic bread. so my greasy mexican hands made for a smudged helmet. it fits snug and perfect. hopefully tomorrow i get to test it! well lets see...... 1 complete rig or at least as much free stuff as possible. 1 toyota tacoma X-runner. i would remove it, but its not just a strap or a snap type davice. its a slot in the actual rear of the helmet. maybe i will get some bondy like stuff or something similar and just fill it up and do some painting. or i might just get out the trusty hack saw (providing it fits and im keepin it of course) and cut them off. then get the bondo type stuff and transition the edges back in just do a lil touch-up paint. here is a picture of a black Leedom Scream helmet from the rear so u get an idea of what the goggle strap holder looks like im betting a little file work would be good enough after cutting the little flaps off. just to smooth the edges out. Rear View after looking at it better, and i plan one of these 2 options, i think im just going to settle for a black one and pay 60 shipped so its easier to paint as far as color matching goes ExPeCt ThE uNeXpEcTeD! well im not a 1%er thats for sure. I love to ride and weather has never bothered me. just go in layers. I wouldnt be qualified to being the "Biker" material as u described it. but dont worry i wouldnt be caught dead on a V.... VV..... Vveeesspa. Hell, ive probably only riden in group riding about 500 miles out of the 22,000 miles i have put on my bike. I have been known to throw it in the bed of the truck and take it with me on trips to galveston or Arkansas, but only when its going to be nice. I do this cause i have to much to take with me and the bike is secondary to the trip. its an added bonus. that and i dont have a back brace to make the trip easier. Leaning over a tank for 4 hours will make u walk funny I dont just ride on weekends eithier. i rode for 225 miles on Thanksgiving and rode to work last night and froze my ass off on the way home this morning. At least i do my own maintence.

good rant dave im sure ill make it south once or twice and we can make a ride or 2. dont worry i put approx. 8K per year on my lil pocket rocket. I ride with anyone and wave to everyone. Even to those HD guys that sometimes dont wave back for the cagers, i like to scare them as they come over. once they finally seem me the look on thier face is priceless and they go right back were they started from. im 5'7" and 120lbs. soaking wet. I know the feeling once i got my arch down started wearing weights. now with 12lbs of weight my instructor says its fine. good luck on that form and the flexability training would be very helpful. makes relaxed hard arching easier.

the closest ski shop to me is about 4+ hours away. Im going to risk the cooling abilities and for fit my head should fit thier medium size, based on thier measuring methods and thier size chart. if it doesnt fit then im willing to take a loss and it will go back to ebay. if it fits and the cooling operation sucks then ill order another one that isnt "cut" and find some other helmet to use as a summer helmet. the specifications says its cruising speed are 267mph and the flight altitude is 19,685 feet. these are converted numbers. here is the page that contains the specifications. http://www.airshow.ru/expo/412/prod_213.htm# im not a plane expert, so would what would the flight characteristics be trying to fly slow enough during jump run? look really cool.
