wolves to be killed with few restrictions in wyoming
SkyDekker replied to warpedskydiver's topic in Speakers Corner
There was a case of wolves attacking a human in Canada this year. But it was also noted this may have been a first. It is highly, highly, highly unusual... -
Funny, the police chiefs in Canada voted in favour of continuing the "gun registry"...Now, off course it couldn't be that these decisions and polls are heavily saturated with politics, now could it?? Nah...that would never happen.....

Priests Purify Shrine After Bush Visit
SkyDekker replied to warpedskydiver's topic in Speakers Corner
I didn't realize he was invited to attend the shrine. If that is teh case I retract my statement. However, he decided it was a place he wanted to visit. or if his handlers told him it would look good on film, well then the statement stands. -
Former Congressman Randall "Duke" Cunningham Sentenced to 8 Years
SkyDekker replied to a topic in Speakers Corner
Funny, I never see you aks those question for a black guy who grew up in poverty and chose to start dealing in drugs, cause it was an easy opportunity to start making lots of money. You don't really seem to have as much compassion for that person. -
Priests Purify Shrine After Bush Visit
SkyDekker replied to warpedskydiver's topic in Speakers Corner
Now off course, he also is free to be sensitive and not go to a place where they are offended by the dogs that pre-amble the visit. -
you are right at least the Israeli Army claims that it wasn't a civilian target....
-
you are pretty wired... valium? Qualudes? Tylenol 3? relax buddy....

The memory of that smell just made me gag

this argument is at the same level as the chicken and egg argument.

I wonder what would happen if one of the lawyers fell asleep.

I have to ask you this based on that statement. The International Terminal at JFK is operated by a Dutch company. Would you make the same statement if the Dutch company sold that business to a North Korean or Iran state company?

Pop said muslims, I didn't know muslims had a single government.
-
must have been an american HIE, they seem to be the only ones giving feelings of superiority....
-
Nope, but I specifically asked her about her training with regards to fire arm use. Anyways, you and John are free to find a Dutch police officer or dutch police policy book to prove me wrong..

HS teachers and the Indoctrination of our youth
SkyDekker replied to warpedskydiver's topic in Speakers Corner
I didn't see a full transcript, but could it be possible he said: Some people think Bush is the greatest president ever and some think he is similar to Hitler. Is that sermonizing or teaching the fact that the US hasn't been this divided in a long, long time? -
I am sure there is enough video around about young white people spewing hate. As a matter of fact, isn't their a little music group comprised of twin blond girls singing about how the white race is superior? I guess that is proof that white people teach their children hate...

Might be a pretty decent reason to excuse yourself form work... pretty sad when a justice of the highest court falls alseep and not many seem to really care about it. I would certainly question the vailidty of any ruling at that point.

Another high-profile shooting in gun-violence-free England
SkyDekker replied to peacefuljeffrey's topic in Speakers Corner
I think a monkey freshly released from the medical lab after a full lobotomy can come up with better logic than this line... -
Fair enough, but then why the Jews? America certainly doesn't stand up for all the underdogs in the world. So why will they stand up for the jews? John, your statement doesn't say anything. We know the US is protecting the Jews...that wasn't the question. The question would be...why protect the jews?

there is a difference between elected and appointed...you are smart enough to know that. I agree that Brown was made a scape goat, it didn't help that he lied on his resume and wasn't qualified even with an altered resume.
-
you are right, he was really qualified for the position
-
Stories like this put everything in perspective.... Thoughts will be with him and his family as well as his health care caregivers....

Do you know how to read Dutch? Like I said, you wouldn't believe me. The 1st part? About who was right Christel or I? I said it was my understanding...hence it could well be I was/am wrong on the German police thing. For anybody with an average understanding of the English language, that would be a normal conclusion. In the end I think it is pretty clear that you know more about Dutch police policy than a Dutch police officer....
-
I have before, but you wouldn't believe me anyways. I have an aunt who is an active member of the Dutch police force.

my understanding was that it was the topping of the levees that led to the breaching of them (yes I know the difference, I grew up in a country almost 80% protected by levees and dykes). Further, it was understood that a hurricane of this magnitude could do that. Lastly, it is clearly stated that they were supposedly "fully prepared". The "we couldn't have known" defence really doens't fly.
