ohh yeah, I don't have friends...I should have said acquaintances LOL yes, they can come in very handy
-
I am not single but I would. For things relating back to my children I do more background checks, with some help of friends.

Or declassified key findings of an Intelligence community report. They contradict what you keep saying here. Are you telling me that your intelligence agencies are wrong again? Do they not know what they are talking about? Do you know better because you work executive protection in Iraq?
-
How many have you served in Iraq or Afghanistan (round two for Iraq only, since the first one has no bearing on what we are currently discussing)? How many of those did you not sit behind a computer? Those questions aren't really relevant, are they?
-
true, though I would think that the far majority of large metropolitan art museums have some form of nudity somewhere. If the parents are too naieve to realize that, why should the teacher be punished for that?
-
The Kurds are a very distinct sub-group. The majority of which want to seperate from Iraq. Are you sure the administration meant just the Kurds when they said Iraqis would welcome them with open arms? Looks like theer are very many Iraqis who aren't so happy. If that wasn't the case, you would be out of a job.
-
yup We were told that Iraqis would be welcoming the invading force with open arms, cheering and would be throwing flowers. Turned out to be another thing the Administration was wrong about.
-
That's a very good point. Goes back to personal responsibility. I am assuming they signed a consent form and as such the parents carry a huge responsibility for their children's exposure to nude art.
-
To me the diference lies exactly in what you just wrote. Many other western cultures see a distinct difference between classic art, which may contain nudity, and sexuality. They see a difference between nudity and sexuality. North America in general and the US a bit more specifically seems to have crossed that line.

People usually go on a little tirades when they have nothing more to add to the debate. Usually indicates nothing more productive is to add and the debate has been lost. The discussion was about how invading Iraq has worsened the War on terror and global terrorism. Your little tirade about different political parties really serves no point.

Ahh yes, bullshit baffles brains....seems to be working for many.

Which accounts for about a third of TFA consumption in regular diets. The ither two thirds come from non-naturally occuring TFA. By the way, not all margerines contain TFA. many of those that do contain TFA have levels lower than what you would find in dairy and meat. I don't agree with a ban on this. I do agree with forcing producers to clearly label how many TFAs are present in their product.

Didn't you argue earlier that Iraq was a Humanitarian Mission to free the poor people of Iraq from their despotic and inhumane leader?
-
actually read the whole report, it isn't overly flattering. Actually let me re-phrase that. It is flattering of the soldiers on the ground, however pretty clearly states that it is extremely detrimental to the War on Teror. Personally, I think the War on Teror is far more important than the War in Iraq. What do you think Clay?
-
Turns out Iraq has just added fuel to the jihadist movement. Looks like the wonderful decision by your president to start a "humanitarian" mission has seriously hindered his War on Terror. Another job well done Mr. president. From the Declassified Key Judgments of the National Intelligence Estimate Trends in Global Terrorism: Implications for the United States dated April 2006: (Clay you may want to note this report isn't 10 years old) The Iraq conflict has become the cause celebre for jihadists, breeding a deep resentment of US involvement in the Muslim world and cultivating supporters for the global jihadist movement. Should jihadists leaving Iraq perceive themselves, and be perceived, to have failed, we judge fewer fighters will be inspired to carry on the fight. and: Four underlying factors are fueling the spread of the jihadist movement: (1) Entrenched grievances, such as corruption, injustice, and fear of Western domination, leading to anger, humiliation, and a sense of powerlessness; (2) the Iraq jihad; (3) the slow pace of real and sustained economic, social, and political reforms in many Muslim majority nations; and (4) pervasive anti-US sentiment among most Muslims all of which jihadists exploit. Three out of four of those factors were in place before Bush decided to start his war in Iraq. The War in Iraq quickly became a fourth. Now do you understand how Iraq has just added fuel to the fire? Edited to add: Actually read all the Key Findings, maybe they will make you pause and rethink some things: http://www.dni.gov/press_releases/Declassified_NIE_Key_Judgments.pdf

Why do so many people hate Speaker's Corner so much?
SkyDekker replied to lawrocket's topic in The Bonfire
LOL, quite the active imagination.... Anyways, SC can be interesting. I have certainly changed opinions and found interesting viewpoints I hadn't thought about before. It takes some thick skin and isn't for the easily offended. -
You have to wonder what went through his mind on this road trip.....
-
true, you can't. But then I think back to the incredible outrage about the Janet boob fiasco. The blowjob incident. States who outlaw oral sex. States who outlaw dildos. There does seem to be more sexual frustration than in many other western countries.
-
Ahh the infamous, I know you'll just have to trust me line.... If they know, why not go and secure them? Lots of people are lying and he isn't one of them? or he is, but it is okay cause lots of people are lying about it?

I can't believe how sexually frustrated American Society is

Funny, it was Rumsfeld who said they knew exactly where they were. You mean to tell me he is a liar? So, where are all these massive amounts of niary weapons then? Or the large amounts of Sarin? According to that report you posted, the CIA at that time believed SH had manufactured either one of those in large amounts. Are you telling me that while Rumsfeld knew exactly where they were, those "stupid towelheads" outsmarted the entire US Intelligence and military community and removed them and buried them where no one can find them? Remember, according to that report there are large quantities....
-
That report is over 10 years old and has absoluitely no bearing on anything current. (the report was uploaded on July 15th, 1996. That nutjob also wasn't under the constant scrutiny of the US military and the UN...was it? It has no bearing at all to what we are discussing....

Clinton's seizure during Fox News Sunday interview
SkyDekker replied to sundevil777's topic in Speakers Corner
Show me an official document that says mercanaries are criminals. Secondly, some one else already brought up that Clay isn't technically defined as a mercenary since he is there for defensive purposes and not offensive purposes, which I replied to and said it is a bit of a semantics argument.
