Another US Shooting - This time a shopping Mall
SkyDekker replied to funkcanna's topic in Speakers Corner
Being in the mall business, this is one of my greatest fears. It is something that is impossible to prevent and can only be mitigated when it does occur. My thoughts go out to the families affected..... -
This is just royally fucked up.... BSBD
-
Don't think you got it. It is hard to answer a question about why something maybe happened. It is a lot easier to first establish if something happened, than answer why it happened.
-
Lol, why did it maybe stop?
-
My sceptical side was thinking the same thing. Specially since this was such a tiny margin and Chavez accepted it so quickly.

Why don't you guys start within our own sport? I am willing to bet that most large southern dropzones have quite a few illegals residing or working on them. I suggest you contact your DZO and have him verify that your dropzone is illegal free.....I mean many seem to be very passionate about this....

And that one line pretty much sums it all up...doesn't it...

Another man dies in Vancouver after being tasered
SkyDekker replied to pop's topic in Speakers Corner
In Toronto alone the Taser has been used more than 360 times this year. Only sergeants and the ETF (SWAT) Team carry them. No deaths and not even a complaint lodged with relation to the Tasers. -
from: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15487676/ I guess in the US in stead of finding emergency care for patients you rather have them die waiting in the emegency room... (See, we all can draw stupid conclusions from one incident....)
-
This case doesn't say anything about the system. California wildfires required the help of Canadian water bombers. Does that mean their firefighting system is flawed? An up State New York city required the help of Canadian volunteer firefighters with a fire. Does that mean the states fire fighting services are completely off? (never mind all the americans who buy their medications in Canada)
-
Correct. However, the incident this thread is about is about an emergency transfer for emergency treatment, really doens't have anything to do with socialized health care.
-
Isn't it unbelievable that in the same state that 9/11 took place they don't even have firefighters to deal with a little fire? They have to rely on Canadian volunteer fire fighters.... This isn't about socialized health care, it is about emergency medicine and availability.

He is not doing well in the insult department...0 for 2 on this thread.....

Do you believe President Bush's actions justify impeachment?
SkyDekker replied to masterblaster72's topic in Speakers Corner
What does clearance have to do with intelligence? Lots of people with high clearance levels couldn't make an intelligent decision when it came to Iraq..... -
exactly and when people want to give cocaine to babies, they should be allowed to do that.... So, lawrocket, when do you think people are old enough to decide whether or not to destroy their own life?
-
Yup, just did to a Polish Police Sergeant working for me.....he thought it was funny Didn't refer back to the nationality, but to an incident....check another thread....
-
depends, if the intruder is Polish, a taser will do.

Police Brutality: Fatal Taser Video Released
SkyDekker replied to CanuckInUSA's topic in Speakers Corner
Compared to the US our violence is almost negligable... 360 times somebody got tasered in Toronto so far this year. No deaths, as a matter of fact, not even a complaint filed. The guy showed violent tendencies, he is in a high risk environment (international airport), showing irrational tendencies. I think the officers acted according to their standing orders and their training. The discussion about the pros and cons of tasers is a seperate discussion from this. I do think that the availability of tasers means that they now get used in scenarios where otherwise hands, batons or asps would have been used. -
Why? That has been your foreign policy for decades.
-
And so what if he is anti-gun? Isn't there room for more than one opinion? You make it sound like it makes him anti-american or somebody that should be shunned....

Funny, they didn't say that before the start of the war. They told us exactly how it was going to play out....flowers, open arms and everything. -
Same way the previous posters knew the cop was there for their guns.

Thanks, I'll be sure to count the point on the antlers next time Thanks to a very nice nerd

Now, I have never been hunting, but I would have to think there is some skills involved. I have always wondered where the point thing came from? Any one care to enlighten me please?

Remembrance Day is always a special day for me. Two grandfathers fought on two different fronts. One flew for the KNIL, one was seconded to the brittish Army. Neither liked to talk much about what they had done or seen, but I know all our lives are better for it. Thank you both Opa. Lest we forget
