  1. Straight from Wiki. once you add scale of budgets it most certainly would imply the US should be doing much better.
  2. There is certainly evidence that would suggest Hillary Clinton would have done a better job.
  3. What were you trying to imply with this comment: "I think you should tell these guys in person. (At least 6 feet away, of course)?"
  4. More than 75% of the US population lives on approx 3% of the US land area. So, by your reasoning the US should indeed be doing much better.
  5. Because he decided to state his instruction to stop funding WHO. Part of his statements around that are not grounded in facts at this point. Secondly, my understanding is that the power of funding lays with Congress and that the president is generally prohibited from messing with that. Funny enough no conservative is mentioning that. (While of course in another thread exulting their love for law and constitution)
  6. There is nothing that says that you have to believe or follow the WHO in the US. They are a valuable resource around the world. But, if the US has information that contradicts the WHO there is no obligation to follow WHO directives. They are a resource. Remember that the US with all its intelligence might was praising the WHO and China. If they knew better, why was your administration doing that? If they didn't know better, why did your own organizations fail? Edited to add: Keep in mind that your President was surprised to find out that antibiotics didn't work on a virus and that one of the administration mouth pieces is on state media saying that since this is Covid-19 and not Covid-1 the WHO should have already figured this out. The problem isn't the WHO, the problem appears to be that you have a complete idiot running your country.
  7. I am not assuming some people here know the difference.
  8. That was Trump. Don't think he gets humour though.
  9. You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave
  10. Jakee already pointed out what a load of shit this comment is. This was all about your opinion.
  11. I get that part. I even agree with Maher that there are problems in China that need to be addressed. What he doesn't explain is how calling it the Chinese Virus accomplishes that. he creates a strawmen by implying that those who are opposed to calling it the Chinese Virus argue that China carries no blame and then rants from there on. His premise is simply false.
  12. What he doesn't explain is how calling it the Chinese Virus would accomplish all that. What we do know is that it causes racist Americans to take out their anger on anybody that looks Asian. So what does calling it the Chinese Virus do in a positive sense that would not happen calling it Covid-19 or SARS-nCoV or any variant of that?
  13. So you really think the President would have realistically delegated that authority to somebody else?
  14. You literally said: Whomever he delegated the responsibility to.
  15. It has indeed been funny to watch Republicans, even those on here continue to complain about socialism yes.
  16. Cause then you would understand why it is sad there is a home for him in the Republican Party.
  17. You think the president should delegate the approval of attacks on friendly foreign soil of a nation with nuclear weapons to somebody else? I think that people with even a little bit of leadership experience can see how that is really a non-starter. That is a lot of twisting just to blame Obama for something to fit your own narrative.
  18. Assuming that more on comments from you like this: "Because it went well enough, he claimed it as his own deeds." My other question remains, who else could have ordered the attack?
  19. It was Easter, they were likely imaginary friends risen from imaginary graves.
  20. Who else could have ordered the attack? Your hill article is a review of another story, which is based on a single anonymous source. So sure, it is a data point, but not sure what you base believing that over any other stories on?
  21. Is this a serious question?
  22. HRC was a far superior candidate to Donald Trump by any measuring stick. Americans just couldn't stomach a woman after a black guy.
  23. And the Americans will therefor vote for Trump is your insinuation. Now does that reflect on Biden or does that reflect on Americans?

    Q

There is certainly value in reporting on it. Just like there is value in reporting about anti-vaxxers, flat earthers, etc. Sometimes we need a reminder that some people are incredibly stupid.
