  1. I think that depends on how you define vaccination. If by vaccination you mean two shots, then it seems that prior infection is similar to double vaccination and really doesn't provide too much protection. If by vaccination you mean double + booster, then it does not seem to compare when it comes to the Omicron variant. https://www.imperial.ac.uk/news/232698/omicron-largely-evades-immunity-from-past/
  2. Having held both and fired one of those, yeah there is a massive difference in the two. As most of us skydivers know, when shit hits the fan it is mostly muscle memory that takes over. You have to wonder how often they did drills where the taser was the first step, or if they teach that in high stress situations the service weapon is the go-to?
  3. The first documented member of my family moving to North America was a Dutch Mennonite priest.
  4. I agree that the pill has to be fake. You see, the smartest guy on dropzone.com, Winsor, told us all how he is the biggest pharmaceutical expert. Then he regaled us with the incredible stories about how the establishment is only working on vaccines, that are really completely useless. So how did anybody have time to work on a COVID pill? Specially anybody in Big Pharma? The pill is probably bleach with a micro UV transmitter.
  5. It is the same disconnect as people who complain and refuse to donate to charities because the CEO or paid staff make too much money, but then defend churches by stating how much good they do.
  6. One of the starting premises by Paul is that people are either completely supportive of Fauci or are completely against him. This is a false premise set to frame a conversation later on. Paul claims Fauci sets government dogma. Then why has this dogma changed between different governments that have as the only constant Fauci for 40 years. He also misquotes Fauci who said he represents science in the vaccine and covid debate, which Paul then restates as Fauci saying he is science. This is all in the first 5 minutes, I stopped after that. Other than this appearing to line up with your opinions, what is in the slightest interesting about it?
  7. Not sure what you mean by this, but there are many religions that condemn other religions.
  8. Well said and extremely similar to my experiences as a child and my disillusion with the Catholic Church.
  9. Ahhh facebook expert! I saw it on a meme so it must be true.
  10. Other than "news" articles claiming this, do you have any evidence this is true? Supposedly it is based on research published by the Williams Group, which is a company that coaches families through successful wealth transfers.
  11. Isn't it generally people who are on your side of the political spectrum who walk around with "fuck your feelings" shirts?
  12. Money is constitutionally protected? You objected to vaccine requirements for air travel as a framework to prevent freedom. Was wondering how a homeless vaccinated person was free to take that flight across the country?
  13. You don't have money in the United States?
  14. Nope. Can you explain to me how you apply for a tax credit when you are not able to work?
  15. Social safety nets for those unable to find employment, free education, paid healthcare including mental health, subsidized child care and higher taxation.
  16. That's civil and shielded them from being sued in civil court. Their wealth is already shielded I am sure. You leave a couple $100 million unshielded for people to fight over and you keep a few $billion for yourself. No Sackler family member is going to jail and none of them are going to be destitute.
  17. Nobody from the Sackler family will go to jail. I absolutely don't think that personally making billions before a company goes bankrupt is a disincentive for anybody. Quite frankly don't understand why you think it is.
  18. Politician tells politically motivated media outlet to take politics out. lol.
  19. Of course the same system has also shown you can make billions getting the world addicted to opioids.
  20. So you do understand some people need extra help, you just don't care?
  21. I think people might hate them because they are a personal manifestation of that system. Nothing good comes from accumulating the majority of wealth in the hands of a very few, IMHO of course.
  22. I have said nothing about hate. Just don't think that billionaires giving a small portion of their immense wealth to issues that could be avoided by not having such a large gap between the have and have-nots, is an indication how wonderful it is to have billionaires worth $200 billion. Plutocracy is a problem.
  23. Since 2013 Jeff Bezos' net worth grew by $180 billion. So in those 8 year the charitable portion was about 0.18% of his growth in net-worth. I definitely donate a lot more than Jeff Bezos based on those numbers and I think most middle class people do. Not sure this is a great example of his wonderful charitable work.
  24. Is that lifetime? If it is I would suggest that the middle class has donated much, much more as a percentage of their net worth over a lifetime.
