Unfortunately I haven't had the time or money to jump consistently. I've taken several 2 to 4 month breaks since I started. Whenever I get back I make sure to do a couple of solo jumps and then when I start jumping with people I do it carefully. If I'm sitting, I don't zoom in, I take it slow. I break high and clear my air and land nice and carefully. That being said, I believe that it my skill progression that is taking the hit bigger than my safety awareness and ability. I take every precaution necessary and make sure I'm not in over my head. This is easy to do at a single 182 DZ. I'll make damn sure I'm more current than I am right now before I head to a boogie. |>.

now your getting it... You wonder why jumpers at various DZ's write you off, this is why. NO jumper wants to see another jumper die or get badly hurt from this sport. When another jumper blatantly disregards the advice of those vastly more experienced than them, they can't do much other than try to discourage you from jumping at all. This sport is very intolerant of stupidity, and mixed with arrogance it is very deadly. You may not give a shit, but others do. |>.

I could clear that up.... but ummm...... yeah, I'm not going to. Here's a simple fix, unionize a collective of DZO's, start validating people's jump numbers with their wingloads, blacklist them from whatever load you'll be on, then come to Italy and tell my coach she's out of her mind... no offense.... it would just help me decide whether or not I should take your advice or my instructors, I'll even take a look at what names you guys come up with and keep a watchful eye for them. Sounds simple enough, right? |>.

If this is how it is, where are all these guys withholding the replies that you speak of? I'm not posting to get a reaction out of a guy. I was posting because it would really be nice to have someone right now as I'm sure that's what RkyMtnHigh and RoadRash were saying. I'm not soliciting for someone, that thought didn't even cross my mind. They're keeping quiet because guys don't usually talk like this on online forums. They usually flirt, tease etc etc. I'm not doing that so they're generally staying as far from this thread as etiquete allows. Edit: Also, if they said anything here, they would prove my point and look desperate all in one fel swoop. |>.
