Sweet dude!!! That looks like so much fun. -
hahaha....damn....now I deffinately getting one.

What are these suits capable of? Whats the slowest you can fall with these suits and about how fast do you move forward?
-
Will do. Thanks for the offer.

Hey, whatup everyone. I have been wanting to get into a birdman suit since I first heard about it. Right now I'm sitting at about 170 jumps and plan of knocking out at least 30 by Dec. I've been told that you need 200 to begin flying but have also been told that they all need to be within 18 months. It'll be 3 and a half years for me. If I were to deminstrate my ability prior to a birdman jump with an instructor, would that be or problem? Or is it a USPA rule that the number of jumps need to be made within the 18 month time period? Also, what is the performance of those suits on average in terms of vertical decent and horizontal speed? Thanks and take care.

Which is the greater killer, skydiving or base jumping
LilZilla replied to LilZilla's topic in Safety and Training
Sorry if this question rubbed some people the wrong way. My friend and I were discussing safety and it lead to deaths involved in the sport. Its not like Im a morbid dude who gets off on this shit. I was just curious on the matter. I had always figured that skydiving would be the cause of greater death, dont know why. The more I think about it though, the more I feel like a noob. I know that base jumping is far more dangerous but didn't think that it would out do skydiving. -

A friend of mine and I were talking yesterday and were debating on whether skydiving or base jumping had the highest casualty ratio. The number of jumpers involved per number of casualties. I believe that skyidiving would but she has some strong arguments to back her side up. What do you guys think. Which has the greater casualty ratio? Alot is at stake on this little bet so don't let me down guys. -
Yes, as soon as I have finished whipping my little slave dude. thats just wrong.
-
welcome back dude. Glad that your back on your feet and flying again. You did 2 yesterday? Didn't know ECS was open on weekdays. Oh, nevermind- Germans are in town. Forgot. Have a good one and see ya in 2 weeks.

I just got back from the wffc and while I was there I spoke to an old friend of mine who now works with Alt II. She told me that yes in the beginning the neptune had a lot of bugs and that it needed work but now those problems have been taken care of and there is software out there you can download now to make it better. I guess that with this new info combined with all the " I love my neptune" posts I cant go wrong. Thanks for all the input.
-
yeah, that big ass alt II is what I've got. Hate it. It does the job, but I hate how big and clunky it is.

Hey, I'm looking for a new wrist mount altimeter. The alti II that I have now I cant stand. I looked into getting the new Neptune but heard how poor it was. I really like how it has a built in log book in it and records top speed and openning alt. The only other alt I've heard of that does this in the Pro-Trac, and I dont think that you can use that as a wrist mount. Any suggestions on stuff out there?

I learned this one from a teacher at my old christian high school. Pretty funny stuff. Go buy some powdered milk. Next pull the sheets off your roommates bed. Sprinkle the powder all over the mattress but not too much that it will make the sheets puff up dust when you get in bed. Put the sheets back and give it a few days. Naturally you sweat when you sleep, that mixes with the milk and gets into your pores, thus making you smell like rotten milk everywhere you go. I haven't tried this yet but sounds like it would really work. Hahaha, this fun just thinking about it!!! Have fun.

yup, usually it hits me from 6am to right about 2pm. After that I'm all good.

I don't remember where it was that I saw it but I saw this really cool picture of this jumper falling with a piece of meat in his hand and the falcon diving after it. Pretty sweet stuff!!!

Of course they are. But in the Men's forum, we secretly share pics of our GF's boobies and all their other Kaboom body parts via PMs (check your PM BTW). Hey wait, don't leave me out of the loop!!!

Hell yeah. Just did my first CRW jump last Sat. and what a trip that was. A friend and I attempted a Mr. Bill but when he pulled and his 136 Jedi came out, the canopy went into a high speed spin. Needless to say I didn't hold on for long. I guess that a 3 to 1 wingloading is alittle too much. Once I flung off, I pulled and waited for Jason to come down to me. He came in just alittle low the first time causing me to sit on his canopy. Now for someone who has never done this before, that was some scary shit!!! After a minute or two I finally got my legs behind his lines. That was so much fun. It was too cool how when ever I turned the other canopy was right there. I definitely plan on exploring this side of skydiving alittle more.

Congrats dude, glad that the weather cleared up for ya. Sorry that I missed it. Had stuff to take care of. Dude, I had a great time with ya guys last weekend. Sat. night was a trip!!! That beach jump was sooo much fun! To bad you weren't on our load, Carolyn was pretty funny. Take care dude and good job with all those hop-n-pops.

Fishkeepers/Aquarist, who are you and what do you keep/
LilZilla replied to ChileRelleno's topic in The Bonfire
Just got started about a month ago with my little 10 gal. tank. Right now I have: 1 rainbow shark 3 x-ray tetra 3 tiger barbs 2 green tiger barbs 1 cory cat 2 unkown cats I never knew fish could be so adictive. I started out with just a few fish cause its only a 10 gal. tank, now I'm up to twelve fish. Planning on getting a 55 gal. tank in a month or two to give these little guys some room. -
Thats one thing I kinda worried about. The DZ I jump at now is really cool. Would hate to PCS to a location where the largest aircraft is a 182, or worse no airplane at all.
