Hey Boet I don't blame you. Not in the least. You have made a decision which suits you based on first hand knowledge and experience. Good!! I am just too old, too stubborn and too befuck right now to think about resettling. ( I am having a bad day ) That might change if I have a family of my own but right now I feel like dragging this entire place into the 21 century whether they like it or not.( Fokken boesmans weet nie wat good vir hulle is nie) It is the self rightious bleating from a mollycoddled, uninformed, pampered segment of the worlds population that pisses me off. The only thing worse is the 'Ag shame, kry vir jou n' biskuit' attitude Don't piss on my head and tell me it is raining. Pheeeew...fighting talk today. Speaking of pissing..how is the weather your side?

Just off the top of my head AFF in SA should cost you about 400 pounds. It is common for Brits to come to Skydive Citrusdal to do their AFF for this very reason. The weather is good most of the year.

Sangiro Nah!! not this time, it was Howards turn. It is now being whispered that the pilots are having a secret 'Captain Carnage' competitition. Howard and Don now lead in the destruction stakes with both of them having set her alight. Rocky has highest points for style by having landed her in the mountains and then flying her out again

By the way. Have you noticed how each woman's boobies are unique.....like thumbprints? Just a casual observation, don't mean nothin'. It's all good. I lose my train of thought and start to ramble when boobies are mentioned.

Are we going to start the whole 'small and perky' vs 'big and comfy' debate again???? Please say it is so
-
Oh yes and if I my add this. A standing ovation to Howard our pilot for his foresight, coolness and skill. A lot of people owe you much more than beer.

Yesterday at Skydive Citrusdal I had the priorities of a skydiver graphically demonstrated to me. The story goes as follows. At around 14:00 our old faithful C207T, old ZS-ASC for those who know her, had what appears(at first analysis) to have been a fuel pressure failure on take off. Needless to say the take off is aborted and the old girl goes skidding down the runway and into the field at the end. The overheated brakes then proceed to set the field on fire. (It is pretty dry here at the moment). Skydivers and pilot abandon the aircraft unhurt and people go sprinting down the runway with every available extinguisher. We got there just in time to put her out and judging by the damage there was probably only seconds before things got really, really nasty. Anyway to cut a long story short when we got back to the hanger where the rest of the people were waiting the following comments were heard in this order. Is everyone alright? Damn there goes my load. Bars open Did Rick get it on video?

Gravity and bills...things you can rely on

I know it is a terrible job but it pays the bills and is less complicated than a restaurant.
