End Cell Closures - Canopy too big due to weight loss?
Stumpy replied to ntrprnr's topic in Gear and Rigging
Dave - can you clarify this? This is what the PD rep said when i demoed the sbre 2. he said it would have end cell closures and the slider might not come down "because it opened slow" yet i then demoed a pilot where the opening was noticeably softer and none of this happened. Is end cell closure actually related to opening speed? Never try to eat more than you can lift -
I totally agree. Hearing people talk about muscle cars being "performance" cars is funny. Not as funny as hearing someone say their harley had "awesome performance and handling" though Never try to eat more than you can lift

Echo what the others say. An hour in 3 days is not too bad at all, even with the extras. If you are reasonably fit you should have no problems. Never try to eat more than you can lift

UK weather bad, where should I go?
Stumpy replied to darrenspooner's topic in Events & Places to Jump
I just spent a week at skydive spain near Seville. Can't recommend it enough. Fast planes, good coaching, WAY cheaper than the US to get to etc, no jet lag. And they have another boogie coming up in March...... Never try to eat more than you can lift -
I think we found your problem!!!! (sorry Nigel - couldn´t resist!!) Never try to eat more than you can lift

Create a playlist with the songs you want in it. That way it tells you at the bottom of the playlist how much you have used. Then set your sync options to just sync with that playlist. Never try to eat more than you can lift

lol - well its not "tonight" for me (check my location) and i am working listening to some tunes so that might give ya a clue! (But you are right, she is out of the country for two years!) Never try to eat more than you can lift -
I don't think its any worse or better than any other typical boxy US truck. Take a look at the H2 if you want something that looks like it was designed by a 4 year old! Never try to eat more than you can lift

Whoop-t-do! So can my dog! - Jim Not like I can! Don't bet on it! She's let loose with some MIGHTY poos lately, poos that make a man proud! - Jim brought a tear to your eye, didn't they. You understand! (I'm going to keep quoting this thing. How big do you think it can get?) - Jim Pretty big i reckon...... Dave Never try to eat more than you can lift

I think it happens to some vintage cameras, (I have seen zuiko lenses for OM series cameras with fungal growth) but i wouldn't worry about it on anything new. Never try to eat more than you can lift

I have seen a lot of the more serious teams in each category come through Bedford recently, as well as quite a few of the freeflyers, but i couldn't tell you what percentage. Average time in the UK is growing pretty fast at the moment with 2 tunnels newly opened - i personally am building hours pretty quickly but hey, i work there! Never try to eat more than you can lift

Government officials (of any country) not answering the question they were asked?? surely not!!!! Never try to eat more than you can lift

its ok if its all you have - the one in the UK (there are actually 2 but the tamworth one is rubbish) sometimes has big jumps put on it on experienced nights. I went once but wouldn't bother again - the comparison with the wind tunnel isn't quite right somehow. Never try to eat more than you can lift

Wear them. We see a lot of people who have learnt to do things without booties who need to adapt slightly to doing things with them. If you can do it in the tunnel, you can do it in the sky, however the reverse is not necessarily true..... Never try to eat more than you can lift

lol - sure i forgive him, but then i pretty much laugh at what he posts anyway because he has got to the point now where he could post "I like cheese" and someone would tell him how inappropriate that was to their ancestors/ politics/ gun love/ religion etc.... Is it: Because thats all the objects you have in your area Because its another discipline to master Is it more/ less scary that any other kind of jump... is it "I wonder how low i can go and still live" All of the above Other? Just curious............ Never try to eat more than you can lift
