  1. ________________________________ Yikes! Just because I don't believe we can push our culture and beliefs on a people who want to remain the same as they have for thousands of years? Holy crap! Chuck TREASON!!!! Get Him!!!!! Never try to eat more than you can lift
  2. It's kind of like so many in the "Theory of Evolution is indisputable" camp, who are quick to label anyone who questions their theory as a creationist nut job. It's about defending your beliefs. The thing is, there haven't been many real challenges to evolutionary theory apart from the "Creationist nut job" camp. And they without exception do it so badly that they basically give themselves the "Nut job" label. Its not about defending your beliefs at all, its about applying scientific rigor to any given theory. If there are inconsistencies in evolutionary theory or areas where we do not quite understand something, that means they are areas for study and further research. "If we do not understand it completely then it must be my imaginary friend that made all this" is NOT a valid answer. Never try to eat more than you can lift

  7. ANY way of promoting religion immediately loses any credibility as far as i am concerned when they promote Intelligent design/ Creationism. I have yet to see any "evidence" from these people that does not very early in the article give a gross misrepresentation, or a simple factual misunderstanding of how the theory of evolution by natural selection is supposed to work. I can see how both the story of the creation AND evolution could coexist but it appears they cannot. Never try to eat more than you can lift
  8. And to think that today i read something that says that Gordon Brown thinks we have a very strong NHS compared to when Labour took power. Never try to eat more than you can lift

  11. Ouragan are nice but overpriced and they don't last any longer than the other reasonably high end suits. (boogieman, sonic, matter, etc etc ect) I had a kurupee, it was cheap, it fitted but it didn't last too well, and some of the people who ordered in the same batch i did had terrible fitting problems. 14. I had an SV 650 S as well and i totally agree about the budget suspension. Definitely the first thing to change. But a busa shock? isn't that overkill??! I have a good friend who had the project bike for these guys http://www.jhsracing.co.uk/mini_twins.htm He got really good results from just a dyno run and a bit of power commander fiddling etc with the full M4 system. Said the 5 extra bhp made a hell of a difference. Let us know how it all goes (i want to know even if no-one else does!) Never try to eat more than you can lift
  15. Shortly after that pic was taken craig lost an ear. Edited to add - that was what made bounce so exciting - he would be looking like he is in that pic, purring his little heart out, (lulling you into a false sense of security) you are starting to think - all those people who warned me were having a laugh, Purr.... purr.... purr.... 18. This is the problem with Dawkins - his books The Selfish Gene, The Extended Phenotype and The Blind Watchmaker are very well written and show very clearly and in an easy way to understand why creationism and ID, and more specifically their arguments against evolution are such a load of rubbish, but the message gets lost in the more recent extremist anti god ravings. Shame. Never try to eat more than you can lift

  23. US call center employee - $10/hr + benefits. Indian call center - $1.85/hr. Pay scale all the way through is 1/6th. The companies realize that if you are pissed off, you will: a- Give up on calling customer service. b- Eventually figure it out. c- Change companies. Since the customer bill may only be $50 a month, the loss of 500 customers is peanuts compared to the million or so that they save. Therefore, they don't actually care. I have worked for most of the Telecoms. Most of the telcomms and most banks are over there now. And regardless of some smarmy PR piece in a magazine, they don't care about customer service. Bingo. Its the same in the UK. Companies unfortunately cannot afford NOT to outsource, the financial difference is that big. To give a hint, the cost of a single call centre operative in the UK is several times their salary, due to NI, buildings, training, overheads, lighting, pensions etc etc etc. If there are a few points lost on customer satisfaction - no-one really gives a shit because the shareholders are happy. Sad, but thats the way it is Never try to eat more than you can lift
  24. Yeah true - the outright size for me wasn't the problem - the biggest one was flapping and wobbling around but still touching my nose, and i don't THINK my nose is that big!? Never try to eat more than you can lift
  25. The one that fits - i'm not being flippant, i wanted a Z1 originally but i just couldn't get one that was comfortable, whether my nose was touching the visor or whatever. I ended up with an oxygn, but for what its worth my next one will be a mamba, it fits me and i think its currently the best design. Never try to eat more than you can lift
