Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the word out there to the skydiving community about a free service? Since it's free, we don't have a lot of advertising dollars to spend. I am the co-creator of www.Rigminder.net which providees ways for skydivers to keep track of due dates and receive reminders so their rigs don't go out of date. Can anyone provide any insight how to help get the word out there? Thanks in advance for any help!!! =) - Lisa M

Rigminder has the ability to add notes for a rig at any given time and the intention there was to keep track of word done to a rig. We can provide the ability to print these notes in a logbook fasion and even modify the system to make it more logbook friendly with reports if you wish. I believe most of the data is there, however, that you would find in a logbook. Please email me at info@rigminder.net and we can talk more about this functionality and Rigminder. Ever wish for a better way to keep track of your client’s rig due dates? How about a way to keep track of serial numbers in case your rig is stolen? What about a place to enter gear as stolen and have staff alerted if someone tries to register said gear? And how about being alerted if a service bulletin is entered that a client’s gear falls into? Skycat, thank you for the kind words! We hope it'll be very helpful to the skydiving community as well. Good idea on having a "no affiliation" option for riggers who no longer jump or do not hae a Home DZ. I have added this option. =) ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

Rigminder does that and more! Rigminder notifies you of service bulletin's affecting client's rigs automatically. When you enter a new rig, it checks that rig against the stolen/lost gear list automatically. Rigminder allows you to share your client's with other riggers (for example, if a group of riggers take turns keeping the student rigs up to date) and allows you to add notes to a rig that your shared riggers can see. Skydivers can search for riggers (you as a rigger chan choose to list yourself or not) and you just might end up with a new client! Thanks for reading! =) - Lisa ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

I just want to update everyone to let you all know we at RigTrack.Net have no desire to step on anyone's toes during this process. We have requested documentation from the original company on the dates that their software was implemented with Jump-Track. If we are indeed in the wrong, we will absolutely change our name. We're on the up-and-up here and have no desire to start off on the wrong foot. We've had quite a few people register already and we're quite excited...name change or no name change!
