    i was being facetious to make a point. the people getting foreclosed on should have thought about it before they signed up. the point i'm trying to make is that they entered into a contract. if they are not expected to hold up their end of the bargain, neither should anyone else. as far as the banks that did the lending, they are the last ones that need to be bailed out. they were fully aware of the risks they were taking and took them anyway. fuck 'em. if i start a business and make a poor business decision, no one will bail me out, nor should they.     th eproblem with the hybrids is that above sea level, gas mileage drops, going up hill, mileage drops, and when its cold, mileage drops. most of the population in bc lives at sea level, but there's no getting around the other two problems.     yeah, but a contract is a contract. if the lenders went against something that was in the contract, by all means make it right, but if they abided by their end, then everyone involved has to live with the consequences. on a less antagonistic note, one could make the arguement that contracts in general should be looked at. when buying a car or a house, the average person can't really interpret all of the fine-print legaleze. one needs to hire a lawyer to really know what he's getting into. most of us don't do that, although it isn't a bad idea when it comes to something as big as a house.     if people are being bailed out of their contracts, why can't my wife be bailed out of hers? we are losing money every year that she's in the air farce, the government needs to kick us the difference until she gets out. for that matter, why not let everyone out of contracts that they agreed to?     grab someone just off student status and jump with them. let them borrow your extra alti instead of using the dz's. when he or she tries to give it back after the jump, tell him thank you for the skydive and to keep it. also tell him to remember this when he has a few hundred jumps and his paycheck has increased.     has anyone ever successfully won a court case using this defense? if so, i would think that everyone would just be telling the irs where to stick it. last year, however, a couple won a court case with the irs using the defense that the tax code was so complicated that nobody could understand it.     what family relationships? most animals do not have these family relationships that you speak of. the ones that do are not regularly hunted. wolves are one exceptoin, but we don't hunt them yet. as soon as they are delisted they will be hunted here in idaho though. you are trying to give animals human qualities. if you are going to make these arguments, you need to educate yourself at least as well the hunters about how animals interact. your lack of knowledge depletes any validity your argument may have, but god damn its entertaining.     Pssssst, Bill, she eats it and provides milk until they are old enough, then leads then to show them how to survive all the ahole predators. psssst - lucky - hunting season for deer is in the fall. by that time all of the deer born the previous spring have long since been weened and they are fully capable of being independant. the only situation in which your "breaking up of families" theory applies is to bears, but it is illegal to kill a sow with cubs.     there may be some truth to that. last season i killed a deer that was in the middle of a river still alaive but had been shot first by another hunter. the deer was 1 1/2 years old and does taste gamey. my buddy's deer was 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 years old but was killed, skinned, quartered, and in ice water very quickly and happens to be the best deer that i've ever tasted. Well at least we have our priorities in order, who gives a fuck about the suffering YOU cause. in this case i put that poor deer out of it's misery. it was wounded and in pain, but it had been shot just in the hind leg, severing the bone. this injury alone is not fatal, but a wolf or coyote would soon find this deer and just start munching on it probably without even killing it first. as for the rest of my kills, the goal is to put it down as quickly and painlessly as possible.
