Ok here's the sap story for all to give advise on.I was living with this very beautiful woman and was planning on marrying her.It went as far as she had bought her dress,we had picked invitations,the honymoon was paid for,etc,etc. Anyway,she is the jealous type.And I had several close friends that were female.And I had a partner at work who was female(I work in EMS).Anyways I would get accused of sleeping around.Even though I told her every move I made.I can understand the suspicsion of the work deal cause it does happen sometimes.But not with me.It was worse with jealousy towards my ex-wife.she said that she was always worried that I would want to try and get back together with her.I tried almost daily to convince her that I had no intentions of getting back together with the ex.BTW I only loved five miles from the ex.So, any way it got to where we were fighting constantly and it got to where I could'nt take it anymore,so,I packed up and moved to Colorado from South Carolina.I moved 1700 miles from the ex-wife.Now,since I've moved out here all I can think about is the woman I left behind.I think about her as much as I do my son who still lives with his mom.It took me moving out here to realize how much I love this woman.And now,I've contacted her after bieng gone for a month.I've written letters sent flowers and called her.I talked to her yersterday and she's nw out of work cause of a seasonal job.So,I wired $500.00 to help her out with her bills.I asked her to move out here with me and to try to start our relationship over and to try and make things the way they were when we first started going out.I have'nt gotten a responce from my offer yet.but I'm calling her again today.I told her that I knew alot of our problem was from the pressures that we had.Ended up having the ex-wife arrested on assault charges.And there was a lot of pressure from her parents.I told here that we would not have those pressures here.And I also promised that I would work on my communication issues and would even quit smoking for her.(that's part of the reason for quitting smoking.the other is it's so expensive it will cut into jump fundage after getting my lic.).So that's my story.Any suggestions on what I can do to convince her that I still love her and want her here with me?I even offered to give her money that would be put away in case it did'nt work out so she would have a way to go back to SC if that's what she wanted.ANy Ideas??

When I did my first tamdem at raeford with a group of people from work we all had to buy shots for the occasion.I just figured that the tradtion carried on over to AFF and from then on.

Depends on what she likes.I've known a couple(and it was only a couple)who did'nt like the crack smoked.If she likes it then bring it on.

Hey all, a quick beer question for the group.I know of the tradition of beer for doing a first.But here's my situation.I started Aff Awhile ago and have not yet given the beer for that first jump.I'm now at AFF level 5.hope to get through it soon if work and the weather co-operates.Anyway to stop rambling I was considering buying a keg for when I do my grad jump.Do you think this would make up for not paying that first case or should I still throw a case in when I take the keg?

I did 3 aff jumps the other day and was so sore I could barely walk it hurt so bad.then went up yesterday for my level 4 and ended up w/ alti sickness and could not make myself complete the dive.I just moved to colorado 2 weeks ago and am not used to the change in alti from sea level.I was so close to sea level I could walk to the beach.

Just a quick question for the skydivers of CO.Where is thebest DZ to go to for AFF.I just moved here yesterday and am wanting to get my Aff done.I went to Skydive the Rockies today and was not ipressed at all.It looked like the planes were about to fall apart.and there was no one there to help me.I stay in Pueblo.The distance to a good DZs no problem.I was driving fro myrtle beach to Raeford,(about a 3hr drive) just for tandems so a little drive for AFF is no big deal.please help.

Also,I'm lookng at stating to buy my rig.A friendof mine @ Raeford gave me his recomindations.Says to get a javelin j4 w/ a sabre170 and a tempo 170 res.of course I've got to get a cypress.Ifeel I would be crazy to jump w/o one.

I was at charlotte international yesterday getting ready for aflight to Co,when i got picked for a "random" search.after dumping everyting from my pockets I still set the detectors off.when they used to wand it went crazy.especially around my chest.the secruity guard looked a my funny and took a step back.I lifted my shirt to show my nipple ring and got the funniest look from him.he started saying tat now he has seen everything.the guy must be new.cause working in a fairly large airport I know he's had to come accross this before.thank fully besides the earings thats the only other piercing.I would havehated to further embarrasss him by having a prince albert and whipping it out right there in front of everybdy ijn the line.

I came out here for a job interview and when I called the company today the person that I had been talking to no longer works there!!! It's a private ambulance co out here.I left a voice mail to speak with the pres of the co about interviewing.I flew halfway acroos the country for this interview and if idon't get it.....well.I don't know what ill happen but I know there will be some words said about it.At least I'll b going otu to Calhan tommorow to jump before I fly back.

I worked on fixed wing and helicopter transports,so that is when I used paralytics....and now my FD that I work for we have both versed and etomidate... Ok,now I'm getting green with jealousy.Fixed Wing,Chopper,Versed.Makes me feel like I went through the pains of Nat'l Registry for nothing.We have nothing like that here.Here being Myrtle Beach SC.This place is as bass ackwards as you can get.No wonder everybodys leaving and going to places where they can use their hard earned skills,instead of being "overpaid cabulance drivers".
