Wasn't being nasty. Just didn't like you putting down Don when you don't have "ALL" the facts. If you go to WFFC for just one thing like the jet, connie, or other special ride then it possible you will be disapointed. Things happen and people can't follow thru. I would go if there were only coing to be CASA's and Otters. Beats the hell out our 1 C-182. I feel Don does the best he can for the magnatude of the event he pulls off. My home DZ is Skydive Tulsa. It's in the north eastern part of Oklahoma. It's a private air strip and we have one cessna. A real laid back place and good people all the time. Idiocy = Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

I'm very sorry to hear of the loss. It reinforces what I make myself do right after I open. I check for other canopies then where i'm at and am I going to get to the landing area then what are my options if I can't make it. Make your decisions high enough to keep from making low hard turns. I find it's better to walk alittle further and find out I could have made it where I was going when i'm not real sure. Blue Skies, Sad Heart. To new jumpers that are B qualified, the WFFC is new jumper friendly. From the sound of the new place there should be plenty of landing areas. Just don't land by the main or manifest and loading area and it shouldn't be very crowded. Idiocy = Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

I have about 380 jumps and don't have an RSL. It's not because students and new jumpers have them. I have a cypres and I feel I will never have to use it. I know there could instances where one would be needed but I try to never put myself in those positions to need one. Not only students should pull at 3,000ft. I really do love skydiving being as the first thing I did after my divorce was start jumping. But there is no way I would put money or skydiving before sex!!!! Idiocy = Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.
