You learned what they taught you in school very well, but what about the real world problem. Why haven't oil and gas companies come up with a true alternative to gas for energy? Does anyone remember the gas lines back in the early 70s? Thats about 30 years to find something else. I feel no one really wants to change until they bleed all the money they can from oil and gas or it runs out first, then they will bring out a new energy source. JMO.

I'm a civilian employee at an Air Force Base. I do commercial welding and sheetmetal work. Have worked there for 28 yrs. and can reitre next July.

Thank you for the Congrats. She wasn't suspose to be here til next week. This is a special family to me. I can't have kids but my step-son is like my own son to me. We get along very good. The kids and my wife taught our 4 year old grand son to call me papa as soon as he could talk. I couldn't ask for a better marrage after my first one failed.

I agree with you. Hoa's won't increase property value that much. They may get more home buyers who want thenm to look at you property. Try and get a copy of the by-laws in the additions where you like the homes. It will tell you alot about the HOA. I really like ours. They just ask for a survey on building a splash park. We already have a nice small park with nice play ground equipment. There are good ones and bad ones. Do some research.

Our black chow chow is VERY protective of me and the wife. We can be sitting on the couch and act like we are hitting each other and yelling OW and in a flash he is between us barking for us to stop. Also at night we have to be very careful walking around the house in the dark. If you step on him he growls, not whimper and get out of the way like other dogs. We keep a close eye on him when people come to the house. He barks a little when they first walk in but then will just sit close by them and keep an eye on them. Here is a couple pics of Buddyboy. Also a pic I have hanging up at work. Wanted to add, he is not aggressive toward other dogs. He will sniff them and walk off. Our dog is 10 yrs old and would love to get another one when he is gone, but because of the uncertainty of his reaction to strangers I don't think we will. I would like to get a Newfy (Newfoundland) but we have a very small back yard and it gets pretty hot here in the summer. We may settle for a Rot.

We will have the lottery here in Oklahoma after the first of the year. I'm hoping I won't have to fantasize to much longer about winning.
