The Skyhook system is in Use, There was a save In Skydive Houston on a Tandem that had the Skyhook and it worked fine. Edited. I don't like the Idea of it because I like to be in countrol of the deployment of my canopies. I see advantages on it and the Idea is awesome. Both are great Rigs. Kelly has a great secondary riser protection as RWS. I have a Micron, I have put about 100 jumps on it since I got it and I love it!!! Really confortable In the air and under canopy, I love the rings on it. I've jumped an Infinity for about 20 jumps and I have no complains to it exept it was a bit big for me. Do you use ripstop tape for canopy repairs?

If there is a hole and you are concidering to put ripstop tape, patche it it is better. I've seen old ripstop patches where the glue weackens the material and ends up breaking. and now you have a bigger hole to patch. Contact the FAA and see what they can do for you. Go to their website. Read the Part 65 Subpart F, but they don't say anything about another countries equivalent. http://www2.faa.gov/avr/AFS/FARS/far-65.txt That could be a start. HookandSwoop posted all the info you need to become a parachute in this forum so read it it may have something that could help.
