Be careful. Skydiving is very addictive. It can also change your priorities in life. It did for me anyway!

Thanks, I planned on asking an instructor, but my dz has been closed for January an are only open on weekends so I was trying to get some pre-emptive input on the subject. I've been dying to get up ever since I picked up my rig at the end of December.

Whats up everyone? I just started jumping in August and am trying to get my A license this winter despite the cold, crappy, cloudy, windy weather here. I just managed to get a rig together and am looking forward to flying it this weekend (I Hope). I have already learned quite a bit just checking out these forums. Looking forward to picking up as much as I can about this new way of life I jumped into. Is there anything I should know about landing in snow? Does it throw off your depth perception, harm the canopy, any tips?

I can't say enough good things about Jumptown.The first time I was there I felt like part of the family.The instructors are extremely dedicated to teaching you to skydive. Safety and preparation are the main focus among all of the jumptown staff. Great place to learn, Great place to jump.
