    Alright, I have wanted to skydive for many years now. It's finally got to the point where it pretty much consumes my thought during the day. The problem is (as some of you know) is that I'm fat. There, I said it. Anyway, I need to lose weight (about 45 pounds the last time I checked) to make it to the 250 max limit for my first tandem. I was doing good for a while, eating right, and going to the gym, until I got an abdominal infection. It's kind of been downhill from there. I've been eating ok (not the best, but definitley not that bad either), but I haven't been back to the gym yet. I was really hoping to make my first jump sometime this summer, which is now looking like an impossible dream. 45 pounds even by August would be 11+ pounds a month. That may not seem like alot to some people, but to me it is. So I need some motivation. Anything will do (except being mean

    Alright I hope I don;t get yelled at for this one but, "masters of the universe" by Juno Reactor. Jeb Corliss used it on his "A Year in the Life" documentary. It's a song I listen to to keep me inspired to lose the weight to make my first jump. Maybe I'll use it on my tandem video (if/when I jump).     Technically, each guy didn't pay $9. Yes they each gave $10 (for the total $30) but the hotel only kept $25. So each guy paid roughly $8.33 for the room. The bellhop or whomever kept $2 for himself, and gave each guy back $1. So here's the math $8.33 x 3= $24.99 Bellhop keeps his $2 Each guy gets back $1 So $24.99 + $2 +$3 = $29.99 Just round up the extra cent...the $1 didn't go anywhere, it's just buried in the wording. Don't know if my answer is right, that's just the way I see it.     I'd have to agree with you there. The statistics are bad- but for those of us who drink responsibly, why should we have to pay the price for the idiots of the world? Maybe stronger and harsher penalties would help- maybe they won't- but banning alcohol is not the answer.     So exactly what goes on Memorial Day Weekend? Is it another big event at Crosskeys? I am already trying to talk my manager into giving me off that weekend (he says it's not fair to the other supervisors I work with- they would have to work the whole weekend- but hey, that's why I put in the request!!!!) So I have 2 other managers trying to talk him into it- so if I get the weekend off, I'll definitley be there on Saturday to meet up with you all, and watch you all jump (I'm still not down to weight yet- DAMNIT!!!!)

    Now I'm really mad that I didn't make the trip out on Saturday. I figured with the weather and all that people weren't going to show up- so I told my wife to work later on Saturday. She got home abour 2 in the afternoon and I just figured nothing would be going on- so I decided to stay home- bad decision on my part.     Hey everyone- haven't been around in a week (my monitor took a shit) so right now I'm on my Brother-in-laws computer (which I have access to for about a half an hour). I know you all were welcoming to having me come out and check out the event tomorrow (a few offered to show me around, and I appreciate it)- my question is, with this shitty ass weather coming in for Saturday, what if anything will be going on tomorrow? I actually talked my manager into giving me the day off, but if no one is going to be around tomorrow, there's obviously no point in coming out. Any info would be greatly appreciated.     A good male friend of mine had a nipple piercing, till he had a hard opening on a base jump and it got ripped off Not pretty.
