This is where I take great pride and puff my chest up because as a lifelong Palm Beach County resident I can tell you that no one in this country can consistently fuck up an election better than we can!!! Are you really in that much denial? She has tremendous influence on the President of the United States. Look historically at how many functions the First Lady attends representing our country. Well that might be your minority opinion which I don't agree with but THIS seems to support my contention that McCain is better qualified to protect us. Time and pressure will always show you who a person really is!

Thank you, I think that is the best assessment that I have seen. My only evaluation was that I thought that McCain was the best choice as it relates to being our commander for purposes of national security. As for all of the rest of the issues, I don't like either candidate. Both sides are writing checks that their asses can't cash!!! Time and pressure will always show you who a person really is!

Dam right I will put his military career up for comparison with anything Obama has to protect our country. John McCain was a Lieutenant Commander, do you have a clue as to what that means? Was Obama a commander of anything, even the boy scouts? And even though he was at the bottom of his class graduating from Annapolis, I will put what you call his worst against Obama’s best when it comes to national security command training and experience any day of the week!!! McCain flew 23 combat missions, received Legion of Merit for Valor, Distinguished Flying Cross, three bronze stars, two purple hearts and dozens of other medals. Go look those up and see what it take to get them! His son is also serving his second tour in Iraq so he knows what is at risk. But you are right, how obtuse of me not to think that Obama is better qualified when it comes to national security because of all of his experience, after all he did “think about joining the military twice”. Not at all, it is THEIR reason for voting for him and not OURS or in the best interest for OUR national security. You are also presuming that their choice is based on respect, I don’t think that it is. That is fine, I am not. Tell me again what command experience in national security Obama has? I know he has managed his campaign, some committees, congressional staff and some college interns but that does not give me ANY comfort of feeling safer. Absolutely not and I hope that we wouldn’t be. I don't want America to be perceived as a nation that has a weak leader when it comes to national security. I want someone that has the common sense to not get us into war but knows what to do if we end up in one. I want us to be perceived as coming from a position of strength but fair. I agree 100%. I have said in post before that Obama scares the hell out of me when it comes to National Security. He wants me to trust the safety of my children and grandchildren with him? Not a chance! Time and pressure will always show you who a person really is!
