I have a family friend that is a very nervous person. Very soon after the London bombings he was flying from NY to London. Was in the lounge for BA and started getting nervous about this guy. He was middle eastern and didnt look nice. The family friend is twitchy like i said so after getting more and more nervous he goes to the desk and says he wants to get on the next flight. The desk agent at the lounge says sure, but can I ask why. After some coaxing the guy says that he is nervous and knows he is irrational but does not like the "look" of the middle eastern guy in the lounge. The Desk agent smiles and says, that the scary middle easterner is a security consultant for BA and former Israeli special forces commando. When I lived in Japan I found a stray chicken. I named it McNugget and carried it home in my jacket on the bus. The next day my dad took it to a large park (Arisagawa if anyone is familiar) and set it free.

I am getting outta the city for a needed vacation. But I am only delaying the rain a few days. I will say however, that weather.com has been changing their forecasts quite frequently due to the big ern. Hey you can always hope right?

The .45 if fired would propel you backward in the low gravity zero atmosphere environment of the moon. Its the for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction idea. I suppose depending on what type of .45 the kick of one gun or both guns fired together could be enough to get you going places.

That place is awesome! Went there before a trip to Holland where I traced all the battles of Operation Market Garden. Let them know where I was going and what I was going to be taking pictures of etc. They set me up really well. You are right though, they had a lot of suggestions that were good suggestions and probably would have helped me take some great shots, but maybe not totally essential. Will power is definately necessary.

Read all of these at least three or four times, have to agree with what many have said, some of you folks need to make this into a book. That said, any more old stories bubble up from the depths of all your memories?

Good article about people doing that in the nytimes today. I did it for a year with no regrets. Perhapsa bit more planning which translates into some kinda plan, would have been useful but all in all a good experience.

I used to be a stockbroker/Financial Advisor in nyc but now i just travel all over the world having fun, yet to find anyone to pay me for that though. Probably go back to school soon. That double major in history and polisci is not doing me too many favors right now although it did help me build a nice client base of discovery channel buffs.

Oh man willow. The preview for that movie was on the Aliens VHS I think, and I would watch aliens all the time as a kid but never saw willow. Then like a year ago a buddy had it i made everyone watch it. Fun times had by all.
