    we put nitrogen in the aircraft tires when I was in the military.... it was a while ago but I believe it had to do with expansion rates with heat, nitrogen is more stable through a wider temp range than oxygen. So you didnt have to worry about a blow out if it got hot or the pressure going low if it was cold. Beauty is only skin deep, but ugly goes clean to the bone!
