Strictly working - Two jobs plus consulting work, went about 2 years, with just the "major" holidays off. Easy Does It -
I think that's one of the grooviest things about ths sport. It doesn't matter who you are, what you do for a living, your religion, political affiliation, income level, nationality, sexual oreintation, race, creed, or what ever. Once we get to the DZ, we're all skydivers, and that's about as universally groovy as you can get. Myself, I'm a maintenance manager, (getting ready to take my CPMM exam-) for a multinational plastics compounding company. Just about everyone on this website has - literally - had thier hands on something that contains our product. Easy Does It

I can get away with three days. I usually clean it every 1-2 days, but I know I can take off on Friday and they'll be OK until Sunday night. If I know I'll be gone all weekend I put a second dish of food and water out for them, even though I know they'll drink from the toilet if they need to. Easy Does It

I've got 2 cats, Bart and Enzo - didn't do anything special for the introduction, just turned Enzo loose when he came to us. Took a little while for them to get used to each other, but now they're best buddies. I do hear it's a good idea to isolate the newbie for a few days though. Two litter boxes, yes. One would probably suffice, but I'd have to clean it up more often. One food and one water dish. Although for some reason the cats like the to drink from the toilet from time to time. WTF? - They're cats. Easy Does It

My employer offers the flu shot FOC also. I always got a flu shot while in the Air Force, also. I haven had a serious bout of the flu in 10 years or more. Easy Does It

First extraction - Nitrous - I ws OK until the Novacaine wore off, then it sucked. Had 2 wisdom teeth pulled under a general anesthetic - Sucked the royal wet one after the meds wore off and for several days after that. Getting teeth pulled sucks no matter what. Easy Does It

Enzo loves chasing shadows - and the both of them love playing hide-n-seek and WWF Wrestling. One will climb up on a high object and pounce on the other. My Bowflex has become a popular playset for them. Easy Does It

One of our engineeers (from China-) asked what happened - I told him, and he said "Kill the Cat!" - - I asked him about people eating cats in China, and he said No cats, only dog, and he himself couldn't eat dog because he was born that year - Interesting - Of course I won't kill the cats!!!
