Not quite sure who you're mad at but it sounded alot like what Iheard in my head back in 2003. lost 3 very very close friends more like brothers. Iknow you care alot about your fellow people jumper or not. Let it out but don't let it eat ya up insde. My heart gos out to the pain ya feel. HUG -
My stepson alway does this puzzle in the local paper called the wishing well. Each # has a letter that corresponds to it, what ya do is count the letters in your first name if the number is six or more subtract four ,less then six add three,this give ya your key number,which for me would be 8. then use the numbers to spell out the message. Static line,then to AFF. First jump went great but landing sucked. Because of winds they radioed me to land in a bean field,wellIflared when my feet touched the 'ground' which I didn'nt was actually the top of the plants & the ground was really abuot 3-4 feet lower.left up on toggles & got slammed on me tailbone.pretty dazed then got dragged about 20 ft. before I ciould collapse the canopy. Well, like to pm ya on the supension issue. as far as side jobs-laborer,sales rep. for lawn care co. telemarketer(lasted 2 days),waterproofer, assembler,ya know where for 10 hrs. a day 6 day a week you put a washer on the end of a nozzle completely mind numbing. Limited on work because I busted up my self real bad in 2003 steel,pin,chronic pain,limited motin. Right now I live in a economically depressed town. Thanks, I'll take a little hug. My life been in kinda bad shape, wiyhout too much whining can't practice in my profession so no $$$, jobs I do get little $$$, can't jump , had to sell my gear, moved back to my hometown & HATE IT HERE,seems like i'm falling apart physically and now Emotionally. I seem to be afraid of heights but not altitude,if that makes sense. If I have areference point to the ground,like i'm on a roof i gett more then alittle nervous,but when I jump it didn't bother me until I got close to the ground or something to give me an idea how far up i was. I got hurt awhile back pretty bad won't go into detail but the Doc said I could never jump again. Well i have without too much trouble just went alot more conservative on canopy and landings. What make ya say u can't or don't want to dive aggain? PM if ya want and I can give details and suggestion if ya want. Wow Wendy,13 years is a little longer than I'm planning on but ya never know. I sold my gear because one I needed the $$$ and two I figured someone could put it to good use instead of it sitting in a lonely dark closest by itself. Hey, how much did jumpin change during ur time off? Was it hard to get back into it? I mean lots of new equip.,new outlooks on skydiving? How about relearnig teacniques or was it lie riding a bike. sept+2003-june2004 because of an injury. That's the last time I jumped. Now I have basically voluntary have taken a undetermined amt. off for personal and also $$$ reasons, sold all my gear except my helmet{custom painted},RW & FF suit, so I still plan to get back some time. But ya know,I really miss it & look toward the sky constantly.
