  1. Well I think switching between 2 different types of deployment methods could be just as 'non-recomended' as jumping a pull out with a wingsuit. Na' Cho' Cheese
  2. I use a pull out (not throw out). I sought some guidence and it has been done before. What I was told was to use a superdooper long bridal. I also added a bigger pilotchute. Works pretty good. You can have all the pull out benefits but with a wingsuit. Na' Cho' Cheese

  4. When a user wants to buy an item from you they usually shoot you an email. In the email it has a hyperlink back to your add. The username should also have a hyperlink back to the profile. It would be easier than searching through the member directory. Na' Cho' Cheese
  5. I made 1 jump on a VX 80ish DOM was '04. I don't know if that is an old or a new but it opened pretty briskly. I know I personally would ignore the openings for that kind of performance though. FWIW I read on here that some people think it is dependant on size and that the smaller ones (99). But that is just what I read on here. Na' Cho' Cheese
  6. I have a tiny ram-air toy parachute thing. It looks to be a stiletto 1.25'. It flys and deploys awesome. Give me a pm and I can send it to you for a model or something. Na' Cho' Cheese

  8. Its almost impossible to get the piece out but if you just by a new cameye/hypeye you can poke the broken piece into the camera and your new plug will work. Na' Cho' Cheese
  9. I don't film underneath tandems but let me answer these questions in the way that I would see them happening. 1. If the camera flyer has a premature that is very bad news. 2. If the tandem has a premature while over a camera flyer not much will happen. There's the possibility of a trap door affect and that will mean a very very minor collision. 3.a. if you were off to the side probably not much could happen. There could be possibility of the cameraflyer colliding with the drouge. 3.b. if the tandem had a premature probably not much would happen either. The tandem could get that same trap door and now be underneath the camera flyer which then the camera flyer might now be in the burble of the tandem and possibly being entangled in the canopy. 4. no Na' Cho' Cheese

  11. hmmm.... I would say don't buy a rig unless you know what your getting. You can regularly maintain rigs or have them modified so where you can freefly. You can still have a low budget and be safe at the same time. I've seen old vectors and racer that have been well maintained that you can freefly in, or have freefly mods done to them. Ask your rigger or a respectable freeflyer what should or should not buy. Edit: heres the rig I jump. It's almost as old as I am and no special mods done. Na' Cho' Cheese
  12. I jump a xaos 90 with an RDS and a pull out deployment system with a container that doesn't have dynamic corners. Na' Cho' Cheese
  13. That looks like a nice wing. I'm curious how it would compare to a nano. I'd imagine that the x-brace design would make it heavier to get off the ground. Na' Cho' Cheese
  14. What are the requirements to jump at SDAZ? I would like to compete because I'm a college student and skydiver but am only 16 years of age. Would I have to get a waiver just to compete? Na' Cho' Cheese
  15. hmmm...how would experience help you with this problem anyways. I'd say if someone with 5000 jumps and was unconcious jumping the 128 will most likely have the same outcome as a person with zero skydives, unconscious, and making a jump on the 128. To the original poster. That is a pretty light wingloading. If your current and you can land where you want to and where you're supposed to while doing a predictable pattern... You'll most likely be fine. Na' Cho' Cheese
  16. what kind of dacron did you have in mind? The huge 900lb dacron or the thinner stuff (I think 750) Na' Cho' Cheese
  17. I'm done posting. I only seem to get myself in trouble. Na' Cho' Cheese
  18. Here! Here! Thats the way I did and thats the way YOU [/Uncle Sam Point] should do it to. But seriously, you should wait until you have atleast your A-lic or more than 25 jumps. **Edit----------- Not really serious at all in this post. ( I really need to find a better way to waste mine and others time) Na' Cho' Cheese
  19. I don't recall if you stated that you had hard openings on your sabre. Before changing canopies try better packing and better body position. I flew a sabre for my first few camera jumps and it opened fine. The HC38 on an L bracket sounds like an excellent choice. I've also seen HC models topmounted with the liquid flat lock. Its pretty smooth and low profile. Probably more than sidemounting. Plus its pretty easy for you to take it off if the situation calls for it. Na' Cho' Cheese
  20. I've seen this same setup that was side mounted. It was pretty funny looking. The camera was about 2 inches away from the helmet when mounted. But really no problems... if anything did get snagged between the cam and the helmet, the plastic base would simpy snap off; much similar to some ringsite mounts. Na' Cho' Cheese
  21. HAHA Classic.... Na' Cho' Cheese
  22. In my limited experience I would say that wouldn't happen. The canopy will stay in the burble of the slider and thus choking it off. I experienced this while jumping a R.A.G.E. (107?) by Paratec. I did some jumps on that and every time I pulled, the slider was so huge that it didn't even let the canopy inflate. Of course when I started yanking on the yonkles the slider started coming down. My 2 cents Na' Cho' Cheese
  23. Dude it looks like you were being a paparazi or something. Did she know you were taking a pic? Na' Cho' Cheese
