What i read in your message is just full of crap. Accepting to shut our mouth because the bear has big balls is just giving up our right to be a democracy. ça passe ou ça frotte

I didn't catch all tour debate here but i felt sad reading it. Our democracy has been attacked today and the only answer is to stand together, whatever you believe in, against the savagery. It seems like one of the cop that has been killed is mulsim, his firstname is Ahmed, one of the name of the prophet. Mulsims are and will be vicitims too. and to be noticed, for thoses who thinks carrying Gun may have prevented this manslaughter, in the middle of the room where journalists were having their meeting, their was one armed cops. He is one the victims too and had no time to counter attack. We are sad I am not afraid of thoses cowards, i hope we will be Millions, tonight we were thousand saying "We are not afraid". This is Place de la République, we were thousands ça passe ou ça frotte

I use to drive in the Torino area. Sure people are driving fast, but i had the impression they were pretty good drivers (You have to be careful of the cars behind you when you intend to stop at the red light ). Talking about France, people need to precise the area as the habits are different depending of where your are. Anyway don't forget JP Sartre's words : "Hell is other people". ça passe ou ça frotte

Pretty much nothing is ever final until it's offered for sale. It depends what you mean by design. The shape of the car is frozen long time before the first sale. Any idea of the lead time to launch and tune the toolings of the body in white ? ça passe ou ça frotte
-
That would be the general reason for doing this and especially since the designs might not be finalized. Whan you see this kind of camo car on the road, the design is finalized but not revealed to the public. I would guess Mercedes (the round shape of the logo + front light shape ...) ça passe ou ça frotte

I have a friend that was seriously injured on a jump like this.Fractured sternum and ribs from the opening because the person that was holding on to her when someone pulled for her sank out and caused a really bad body position during opening. It's a bad idea, I've never liked it, and I would kick someones ass if they did it to me. Pchapman has explained more or less my opinion on this. The reason why I mention the ability of the OP to do it safely is because of the risks you mentionned. I already made some jumps with this trick in mind, and never done it because the conditions were not good enough to do it. ça passe ou ça frotte

Sounds funny to me Pulling for someone else on 'celebaration ' jumps is not uncommon here (But lower because after pulling, you're alone on your jump). Nevertherless i might be concerned by your ability to do it totally safely given your low experience. ça passe ou ça frotte

Your opinion is biased due to your location. For the rest of France, people living in the south east area are 'specials'. ça passe ou ça frotte

it was a parisian roundabout . . . circular is what they do. A friend once gave me some advice about driving in Paris. 1) Rent the most beat up, clapped out old car that you can. Ideally, one that looks about 5 minutes from going through the crusher. 2) Approaching a roundabout, do not slow down - accelerate. 3) Ignore any right of way and drive onto the roundabout like you really don't care whether you live or die. Everyone will get out of your way. Did your friend precise you to apply this strategy for british style roundabout or roundabout "à la française". Second is rare but not so easy to handle. The most famous is https://maps.google.fr/maps?q=arc+de+triomphe,+paris&ie=UTF-8&ei=T8ZXUvLaOKnN0QW7t4CQBg&ved=0CAgQ_AUoAg If you want to cross it, don't be shy ça passe ou ça frotte

it was a parisian roundabout . . . circular is what they do. Oh no, hopefully the British Parliament is not in Paris. And we don't drive on the wrong side of the road. ça passe ou ça frotte
