OK thanks :) i've take a look at our manuals here in Canada, we don't have anything like this until now. but i strongly think that with the increasing number of new jumpers coming directly to FF we should developp something like this FF endorsement blue skies ! -------------------------------------------------- I never used 2 rocks to start a fire ... this is called evolution !

although here in Canada i've never hear anything about FF1 all i can tell is : the more coaching the better ! i now have around 100 FF jumps behind me and while i was rushing to get head down last year i finally focused on my stand up position and abilities to fly. last season was to be clotured by a 8 way sit flying ZOO ... funny but not really improving anything. Now i've come back to 2 - 3 ways jumps which are way better and i can clearly see progresses on each new jump. (2 ways are with the same friend each time and 3 are when we add the coach on our jumps, let say each jump out of 5) good luck for your FF1 ! by the way can someone tell me if this is a mandatory stuff to have if i want to jump with other FFers let's say in the US ? blue skies all ! -------------------------------------------------- I never used 2 rocks to start a fire ... this is called evolution !

lol ! have you ever heard of that skydiver who was taken so high by its chute while caught in a thunderstorm that he died of asphixia. he was recovered 100 kms away from the exit point !!! wow THAT is scary !!!! i finally understood that there's no way to make them understand what our sport is all about and how safe it actually is ! -------------------------------------------------- I never used 2 rocks to start a fire ... this is called evolution !

But you should wait a little bit longer.. get a 100 more jumps or so first.. camera is a big distraction.. Congrats on the helmet though, that is a very safe choice for a camera helmet. thanks :) i forgot to stipulate that i yet have jumped with the cam around 20 times but NOT for pro shootings, it's just to get back some shots once on the ground. basically i turn it on before exiting and shut it off once landed. i strictly don't pay attention on what will be or not on the film :) but thanks again for the head up ! -------------------------------------------------- I never used 2 rocks to start a fire ... this is called evolution !

Hi guys ! i just got my helmet this morning : an all brand new FF2 from 2K composites. all i can say for now is that the fit is perfect, the cameye is mounted and is just in the right place, fine-tuning the cam angle was a charm ... comfort is second to none ! i was happily surprised to see that they now come «cutaway ready» a very nice addition ! chincup is easy to adjust and really do its job ! i just can't wait now to test it in the air ! Hi, i simply love my ZPX 185, i load it at 1.14 ratio and every single flight is a dream. you can ask a lot to it. it will be there anytime. i have now 35 jumps with it. Landings can be real smooth if you want to, but if you want some more «spice» you can easily have some speed ones ... it's just a matter of experience :-) I highly recommend this main chute to any beginner !

Hi there, due to some pre-skydive sports (sk8board etc ...) my knees are now finished, so i am used to jump with a knee support on my left leg. Last Friday i was jumping with a coach for working some tricks. Unfortunately, on this day i forgot my knee support, even worst i wasn't wearing my freefly pants but a simple short. at the moment i let the plane go i lost any ability to control myself in the air, my left leg was doing nothing but floating without any power ... i felt from 13500 to 5500 without being stable for more than 3 seconds finally at 5500 (our break-off altitude) i succeeded a good track and opened safely, the second part of the jump was ok but i landed on my butt, my leg being too weak to support me while landing ... The next day, i did the very same jump, WEARING my knee support and pants : everything was just fine ! so if you are, like me, wearing some support to your legs or arms : don't forget to wear them when you have an important jump to perform ... (or at least don't choose a coach with a camera on his helmet ) -------------------------------------------------- I never used 2 rocks to start a fire ... this is called evolution !

Hi there ! i'm all brand new to the sport (18 jumps) and i am in the process of finding my first complete rig. for the container i will go for a G3 or Javelin but my question is more on the canopy (main) : i've seen the "synergy" from Precisions aerodynamics and i would like to have some feedback on this canopy. it seems like a very good one that i would be able to keep for a good time but ...... i just want to be sure :) at this point my criterias are : an easy folding, a soft opening, a good forgiveness during flight but with capabilities to go futher and the main one (my knees are very very very fragiles from my skateboarding years) : soft landings here is a link to the details for this main : http://www.paragear.com/templates/parachute.asp?group=288 thanks in advance Blue skies ! -------------------------------------------------- I never used 2 rocks to start a fire ... this is called evolution !
