  4. That was not my experience as a (male) server or bartender. On average, I found blacks to tip as well as other races/ethnic groups/age groups (better than some), although I suspect their variance to be higher than most groups (i.e., I typically received a very large or a very small tip from blacks), judging only from my own experience in the service industry. I merely pointed out that simply because a right is not enumerated within the Constitution does not imply that it is not Constitutionally protected (a concept that has been upheld by the SCOTUS).   19. After listening to all four parts of the sales pitch, I didn't notice that he said anything that was egregiously wrong. Are you referring to the sound byte in which Mao was quoted? Considering the quote was remarkably similar to Washington's "Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force.", I hardly see what the big deal is. People need to get over the idea that just because someone (e.g. Mao) is a Communist, they cannot offer any constructive insights. I think most of the children who were left behind would be surprised that a whole lot of our military has read things written by Mao, Engels, Marx et. al. That whole Sun Tzu thing comes to mind.   23. Yes. And they've signed the additional protocol. It is my understanding that Iran has not yet ratified the additional protocol. I don't know enough about the details of Iran's government structure to know if they consider it to be legally binding without ratification. Since a treaty would require approval of two-thirds of the Senate in the US before it was binding, regardless of whether or not it was signed, I think the same respect should be shown to other signatories and their national laws.   25. I don't remember who was criticizing Bush for playing golf, but I remember the reason. Bush had publicly stated that he had given up playing golf while the troops were deployed in Iraq and/or Afghanistan (don't remember which) in support of the troops, but was found to have played after he made that statement.
