i havnt jumped again because im saving my hard earned pennies. come febuary i should be sorted(and im makin quite big sacrifices to go back), but sometimes i get thinking 'is it really worth it, the risk of losing ur life over a jump' and then quite quikly, i think yes definetly, and if all the safety is put first u should be ok. i also wounder wot i will do in the sky once i quilyfy, just go up and jump out and then land. i wanna have fun, none of my m8s will go skydive, infact the thought of me doing it scares them. and at the drop zone im too quiet to go up to people and start talkin to them and most others dont just talk to people they dont know, so i was sat around all the time on my own. and my high light of the night (because i stayed the night to jump the next day) was seeing my instructer, how sad is that :) so i can c other people not goin back for that reason, but not me ill be back, again and again, and hopefully meet people over time ------------------------------------------------------- if you wanna see the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain

just reading through and thought id chuck a couple o things in for u, i have only 1 jump but i would neva think of not opening my chute to see if the cypres works, common sense should tell you this, but neva the less nu bes will ask questions which sound silly to more experianced people, and i have started aff and done L1 and i open with the pull and throw it yourself deployment not the spring loaded way (dont know the name lol), my instructer said this was because they have started training people on wot they will use after quilyfing which i think is correct to an extent, eg i would not like to train on a small chute and i do prefer a higher opening aad, incase it did not work i have more panic time to pull pins try anything to open the chute, if it was set to normal/experianced opening alltitude, after you realised (god forbid!) it hasnt worked and youve paniced your probaly not going to have much time left to fiddle and pull and prod ur container...... ------------------------------------------------------- if you wanna see the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain

hey people well first im really really sad, i did my level 1 aff on saturday at bps langar, and guess what, BAD WEATHER on sunday so i couldnt jump - i was gutterd. but hey i live only 30mins away so ill be back this saturday and if need be sunday i give u a little about me now (like u really care lol!) i an apprentice plumber, i spend most of my time createing music on my pc using programmes like (for those of u who know) fruity loops, although i want to upgrade to beta equip soon!! i also do quite a bit of fishing and cycling and plan to soon go gliding and scuba diving (i always seem to pick the expensive ones lol ) well thats me and you might just see a bit more if me in time cya digital amnesia (my real name is eddie, i post music on the net under the other name) ------------------------------------------------------- if you wanna see the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain
